Im confident in our conference!  If they lose they weren't the better team and I was wrong.  Can't be right all the time.  But I know that playoffs are tough and it will be a good game.

Duff--Any chance you could add a beaver to the hunting intinerary for this weekend?  Too personal?

Should be a great game and an awesome tailgate at the Perk. Goo Crew is going with Italian Beef, Sausage, and Chili and maybe a few Bloody Marys to fight the cold...The Oline must/will continue to open gaping holes for #32 or whoever. POUND THE ROCK and FLUSH THE JOHNS.......

Having been at last year's game and having followed the Johnnies closely this year and UWW from afar, I'm not holding out much hope for a Johnnie win this weekend.  UWW has a hell of a team this year, especially with Beaver back, and I even publicly stated that I had lost faith in SJU this year and understood that this just wasn't their season.  Who knows, maybe the Johnnies can keep it close and sneak out a win.  I'm sure I'll spend the rest of the week figuring out a way that they can keep it close.  Hell, I even volunteered to drive out there on Saturday while the rest of the travelling party slept so I could try to figure out some way we might win the game.

But there are a few things I know for sure about this year's game:
--The traffic flow on the WIAC board will be higher this week than at any other time this season--even if you go on to knock off Mount Union, Beaver wins the Heisman and Berezowitz is canonized all on the same day.  So get used to it.  Besides all the classless assholes we're really not bad people.  Sorta.

--There are going to be more than 3,000 people at Perkins stadium on Saturday.  Honestly, 3,000 people for a playoff game against a conference rival?  That's it?  Weak.  I think all West Region playoff games should be at Clemens stadium.  I mean, what's the point in having a playoff if no one is actually going to show up at the games?

--Not only will we travel well, we'll be there early shotgunning beers, eating the flesh of dead animals, and talking about how great we are in your parking lot.  There's no stopping it, so you might as well just join in.

Here's to a good game.  It should be a fun week.

GO JOHNNIES!!!

Here's a bigger image. It's the oddest-looking rat you've ever seen, for sure.

Nice day, huh?

Hm, I guess I should confess that TC will likely be riding in my vehicle...

Ahhh, beaver hunting. A very difficult, yet rewarding pursuit.

Easy to spot, hard to get, don't taste real great, but surprisingly satisfying to bag :o

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

My mistake Duffman I actually thought it was the baby kangaroo from the Bugs Bunny show.  It's an easy mistake to make :-[

I loved this paragraph, you know the, "try and make 'em overlook us," strategy.  St. Norbert's College's Coach Purtell already tried that one and it didn't work too well for them.   ;)  The Johnnies are a formidible opponent every year and will not be overlooked by the coaches and the players or any WIAC poster if they are smart. No one is more dangerous than a team with revenge on their minds!!  UW-L showed us that.  Congrats to the Eagles on an outstanding year.  They are a terriffic football team and gave the Hawks all they could handle.  I believe that a tough game like that with the Hawks making some mistakes and having to keep their poise and come from behind will benefit them.  Looking forward as well to a great week, tailgate and game.  The Johnny Nation was a very classy bunch last year and all are welcome to the Perk.  You travel amazingly well!  Just hope we can make your journey home a long one again this year.   ;D

Yeah, that drive sucked last year.  That is why I'm not doing it this year.  Okay, so that is not the reason, but I will not be able to come this year :'(

Bummer, Duffman.  Let's hope the Hawks win and then you won't be sorry that you weren't at the game! LOL ;)

413-The UWW fans were classy last year, as well, and I am looking forward to seeing, I hope, a good game. UWW is one heck of a team and it will take the best game the Johnnies have played in the last three years to have a chance. Perhaps we will see you at the SJU tailgate.
