I'm just trying to pick one of them that seems less futile than the other. Not astonshingly, I'm finding this very difficult.

I'm now a Johnny fan and predict a Johnny defeat, 49-7 at the hands of a better, more-talented Whitewater team. Good season though Johnnies, I went to every home game and rooted you on every week! I even bought plane tickets for last weeks game and saw the good victory! I just feel bad they have to play a much more superior Whitewater team. Too bad for the seniors, they fought hard, blah blah blah, etc. etc. etc.

So is this self-doubt, or cockiness?

If you were a Johnny supporter, which you aren't (which causes me further consternation as to the point you're trying to make), you would be a serious poster as per the standard established by warhawkexpress.

Since you are a Warhawk supporter you are subject to no such standard.  You're inability to find a non-futile Johnny might lie in the fact that you are trying to prove to us that you conform to a standard created on your bandwagon designed to be difficult for us to meet.  The standard doesn't apply to you.  You're in the clear.  You are, by the fact of your Warhawk allegiance, a serious poster.

(It's kind of like watching a guy pick up a fumble and ramble 90 yards to his own end zone.)

If you are talking about conforming to the fact that there really isn't one non-futile Johnny supporter/fan posting on the WIAC board, then I do conform. Being non-futile is a very easy standard to meet. The bandwagon you suggest is a fallacy created by your unimaginitive mind.

Let those Johnnie goofs get their last lame rants in....Its easy to see that they are just flooding the post because they know the end is near for their team to be arrogant  and boast about their fabulous program.  Also they are going to have significant trouble with their overinflated egos as they sit home and have to wait another nine months to actually see their team play football after the Hawks decapitate them Saturday.  GET R DONE HAWKS and I hope it snows a ton so we can call up Mr. Plow and shovel you filthy Johnnies back to Viking country!!!
