Wow, great Linfield/UWW circle jerk you guys have got going here ;)

What is the matter, Duffman?  Are you guys still smarting because the Cats brought their "A" game to play the Hawks and the Johnnies didn't?  (Picture me ducking with my hands protecting my head as I prepare for the pounding you are about to give me)   ;)

LaCrosse exposed a weakness in our defense.  St Johns has the tape.  Gigliandi is going to have a good offensive plan and exploit the same things that LaCrosse did.

I am hopeful that any "exposure," will be corrected and don't forget that the UWW coaching staff has tape also, (including the Bethel game,)  ;)  I believe everyone gets the last 3 games, don't they? But most importantly, and you know this, BW,  the coaching staff hasn't slept in weeks! Maybe months.   ;)  All joking aside, I am sure that the Johnnies and their legendary coach will come to play and the Hawks will need to play flawlessly to come away with a win.  I hate that "Revenge Factor!"

OK, I am ashamed that I resorted to smack this morning.  Sorry about that.  I mean it all in good fun.
Looks like it will be a winter ball game.  I'm sure the Minnesota boys are as adept at playing football in the snow as the Wisconsin boys. Damn, turf sure would be nice about now.  Hate to see tough road conditions for traveling so everyone drive carefully and have safe travels.

And thanks for the instructions, KR!  I hope I made you proud and I will try not to use the knowledge unwisely!

So why not move the game to the MetroDome in Mpls.? Just a thought. ;)

Could that be done on such short notice? Wouldn't be a bad idea. Cortland State (from out East) had one of their games moved to a neutral site earlier this season after Buffalo, NY got whomped big time. (If I remember correctly, Buffalo got hit with 1 1/2- 2 feet of snow at that time).

Only saying it's been done before.
Don't think the Metro Dome is exactly a neutral site   ;D

Plus, if we're going move it to a turf field we might as well move it to a NICE turf field.  Hey, I hear they have one of those in Collegeville!

After the Thanksgiving blizzard of 2001 (when SJU's field was still grass) that weekend's SJU/Pac Lu playoff game was moved to the FargoDome (over two hour drive from Collegeville).  I think it's only fair we get that home game back.

Forgot to indicate, in Cortland State's case, the game was moved to Sunday as well. My bad.  :-[

Two years ago the Concordia vs Oxy game was moved into the Fargo dome even though it could have easily been played outside.  It is my understanding that someone on the NCAA playoff committee makes the call.  Instead of going to the expense of moving a foot of snow from the field in such a short time span, why not move the game up north of the storm..say Carson Park in Eau Claire.

No problem having the game at WW, just lots of work. Snow is suposed to let up shortly after noon. Field will not only be ready, but in great shape.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

No snow in the Platteville area. move the game to the Ralph in Platteville. If they did I would show up on the fifty. Seriously, the game should not be moved unless it is unplayable. I agree with the Flash, it will not be in that bad of shape. To the winner goes the spoils, that is, Home field advantage.God Bless allof you, especially the travelers, players, and crew working on the field. PS: might be a good job for the UDUB DUB club.

They won't move it unless the field is totally unplayable. The Concordia/Oxy game was moved because the Concordia officials submitted a bid for the Fargodome in that round, not their on-campus stadium (could have been a different game if they had decided otherwise), and the NCAA accepted that bid.

Expect to be at Perkins for sure-- they did a nice job having the field ready last year and I have no doubt they will be ready tomorrow as well. I just hope there is enough bandwidth on their webcast!

Besides, Camp Randall would be far more of a home field advantage...what with all the Red already there...and JR would be ready to roll!

The field will be fine....Woudn't be surprised if there was a later start than noon.....That happened twice last year......

We are still on the other side of the storm here in Ohio.  One added bonus of having a 200 man roster (with only 52 on the play-off roster), is there is a great supply of "cheap" labor to clear the field by game time.   ;D

If they move the UWW and SJU game anywhere it would be at Camp Randal.  Just line in 96 when UWL played MUC....
