Snow has completely stopped in WW.  Sun is shining and it is actually quite comfortable outside.

Everyone talking about the game getting moved because of 8 inches of snow???  THIS IS WISCONSIN!!!!!!!!!!   I teach in a local middle school and we didn't even get a snow day, so I don't think there is a need to talk about moving the game.

Game on.  (Yeah.  Game on)
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Safe travels to those coming from SJU and wherever for the game in Whitewater...

Gentlemen, let's have a clean fight tomorrow!  ;) Don't feel there's going to be a need for anyone to go to a neutral corner though, since there's not going to be a TKO by either team... It's going to be a close one, boys....

But good luck to the Warhawks, keep it rolling, and take care of business!

DuffMan -
I watched a UWEC/Whitewater game last year on the Net - It was OK...

But I listened to my team's radio feed. There was a delay between the web feed and the radio, and my Blugolds, desite knowing what happened on the radio version, still weren't able to stop the 'Hawks the second time around on the webcast... ;)

Now give me back my karma point!

Last post before the game have to be up early to be at the Perk by 9:00.....A little under two hours from ChiTown if we have good weather. Made this trip for every home game for the last 5 years. Italian Beef, Sausage, and Chili on the menu ---Should be a great tailgate with a lot of the Goo Crew there. Hoping for one more tailgate at the Perk next week.....Should be a great game tomorrow with the best OLine in D3 POUNDING THE ROCK. If they do that then we will most certainly FLUSH THE JOHNS!!!!!......

I am the one in need of Karma, someone tell me how to post it. I need to pass on some love. Who needs extra roaster players when you have work Study employees from the Student Body. Also, who needs office building cleaned for one day, bring out the underpaid(this point is serious) custodial staff. The OL MOM should arrive early with hot chocolate and her world famous cookies for the Crew. Also, you should get the famous UDUD DUB fan club out. They might want a couple of free kegs though! Seriously,(again) good luck to both teams, safe travel and health to all working hard to get the game in. God Bless!

Dear SAK: It is fans like you that make UWW FB great. Good traveling! Blessings!

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Duff, I've watched three games this year via the internet feed.  I'll do the same tomorrow.  Actually, the video's not too bad.....you do have to fight through the two guys calling the game, though.  Worth it?  It's free....  I paid $8 to watch the regular season game between UWW and UWL.

DM - I saw the EC game last year and this year Azuza and UWL game last week.  The students do a fairly good job at telecasting. Graphics are pretty good considering they're not "professionals." They have replay capability, show stats, running clock & score, etc. just like a network game would.  Last year the camera work, to me, was poor (showed the crowd, cheerleaders and Willie Warhawk far too much!).  They improved greatly in the two games I saw this year.  The announcing was something you have to get used to, as Dallas pointed out (they are students). I've heard much worse from so-called professionals.  The same two guys have handled the play-by-play and color, I think.  They have improved, too.  They actually are more unbiased than a lot of professional and/or student radio broadcasters I've listened to from D3 games around the country.  One of the few times they expressed any homer-ism or home team emotion was over the 4th down stop late in last weeks game that sealed the win for UW-W.
If you are going to be within ear/eye shot of a computer, I think it's well worth your time.

Well said BoBo.  And yes, the games and announcers have gotten better.  I actually thought the game last week against LC was the best I've seen thus far.

DuffMan

Thanks for the info.  I think I'll watch the feed and listen to our radio guys.  They're pretty good.

Safe travels to all.

Whitewater sucks.
