Are the buy-one, get-one on sale at DLK again?

Yes, DLK is the sponsor for the promotion.

I am pleased that we won the game.  I saw the plays that Kleppe made.  Fantastic!!  But we have to do so much better this week.  Wesley is coming to town.  That means Robinson and he is awesome as well.  They have so many weapons.  And they will not make the same mistake about the shoes.  They manhandled UMHB pretty much.  Wesley has some long pass plays that will turn everybody's hair white unless the DBs and safeties are on their toes.  Don<t get me wrong, I am positive we can win, but we have to be focused on this week ONLY.  We can't be caught looking ahead because if we do, then Wesley will be traveling.  I would not like that and neither would any of you.  When they use some of their defensive guys in their backfield and as TE, they have such a huge presence.  They are very fast.  You need to start fast against them.  The game has changed since last year.  The new time rule (god I hate that new rule,  I get less football for my money!!!!!) makes it unfortunate for whoever is behind.  OLINE, you have to block well and give the Beav and others some running room.  You need to allow J Jacobs time to find his target(s) [go Pete!!]and get into a rhythm that will help us to go straight down the field.  And what can I say about our defense.  Keep the Wesley O from advancing towards the goal at all costs.  This is Coach Brez' last home game.  Let's give him a game for all ages!!  And no inane cheers from the peanut gallery.

GO WHITEWATER!!  BEAT WESLEY!!  SMITHERINES WOULD BE A NICE SIZE!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

Hold on.... Why are people complaining about the "You F***'d up" chant.  Have any of you ever gone to a Badger game.  You have 10,000 students chanting that plus "Eat Sh*t!!! F*** You!!! It's great.  People enjoy it. There's no greater atmosphere or anything more entertaining than watching and listening to the Badger student section.  To me it seems that since this is only DIII that we all have to be nice and love each other up.  They're not hurting anyone.  They're not swining a helmet at another player or stomping on someones head when they dont have a helmet on.  They're just having fun.  I went to a Whitewater game this year and I thought it was great when they chanted it.  Whitewater games with the students and all the glamour has the feeling of big time football.  The so called "grown ups" that support Whitewater should be happy that the students show up and support the team.  You go to other games in the WIAC like Point or Eau Claire, you dont even see a student section.  One last thing..... A word of advice for the Whitewater student section... keep it up.... just make sure you yell "EAR MUFFS!!!" before you chant it.

UDubDub

dude ihavesomething2say  you are the man  well put and the earmuffs chant will def be in full effect lets not forget were in college not high school and in D3 you dont have to be nice to everyone      i guess you didnt hear us when we jumped off sides and chanted "we F'd up "   yea thats it i blame badger games and my parents for taking me to them  when i was 12   and give me a break lets all call the AD and put a stop to this  whatever guys  its COLLEGE not high school get it straight have a sense of hummor  but i guess thats hard to have when every team that has came to the perk this season has been sent packing with a L   :-*  god i could go on and on about this its to fun to hear people forget what they did or said when they were in their 20's    ITS NOT HIGH SCHOOL folks   !

That doesn't make it right, not one bit. I would advocate throwing people out of the game for that.

I agree pat it doesnt make it right but then again i dotn think the river falls band playing while were on offence is right or mary harding baylor bangng on those rusty oil drums right  besides i thought there was a NCAA rule on noise makers but hey i guess when you can only get 40 kids to come to a game u gota do what you can to make some noise.  Yea lets kick people out of the game for saying the F'word   ha   well i guess as long as wesley doesnt F up we wont have to worry about the chant will we  ;D  besides folks  u only have to put up with our nasty lil chants for one more game at the perk after that we go into nice kid mode once we hit the streets of VA cuz last year the good folks from ESPN didnt care for our chants to much maybe thats why they showed the MUC side the whole game  ;D   sorry we try and rock the perk D1 style but were just not into the typical D3 student section of 20 kids sitting down chanting "here we go warhawks here we go "clap clap  save that for the moms and the cheerleaders

I don't want to see anyone thrown out of a game. If you guys really think it's ok to chant you f**ked up, and similar things with people in the stands with their small children watching the game, then enjoy yourselves. I suggest you try to get more students coming to the games though, because instead of having 9000 people there for games, you will end up with the 1000 students chanting to themselves. Good luck.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Only in the NCAA playoffs.

Step out of your bubble and see the rest of Division III. The typical student section is hardly what you would have us believe.

Great post, UDubDub.  Your writing skills, however, tell me you should think about retaking that required Frosh English class.  You just keep rocking the Perk in your D1 style, though.  I can just tell that you are going to be really something special once the party is over.  "Hear we go, Warhawks, hear we go," clap, clap.  Wasn't that good, and I'm not even a mom or a cheerleader!

Alright, ENOUGH HAMMERING THE  KIDS!  Points have been made and then re-made.  I said I didn't like the F** cheer but also said I can see both sides. Still want to see as large a student section as possible "rocking the Perk," this weekend!!! Loud but classy would just be preferred!!   Now how about some football talk..................How about those Hawks................. 8)

It's tough when they keep posting. :)

Be fair, Pat.  They are on the defensive and there is plenty of posts on both sides to keep it going IMHO.  Just think we need to move on and after all.....we are the adults.......right?  ;)

Pat,

On a more positive note, can you confirm that four regional "finalist" are going to be announced for the "Gagliardi"?  I read that they should be announced today.  I am not clear on the four regionalist idea since the 10 finalist were not evenly distributed between regions.  Can you help clear this up for me?  Thanks.
