Congrats to Kleppe!  If as Pat said, this is truly a football award first then he will and should win it.

I agree he should. Hopefully the other voters agreed.

I know Keith McMillan spoke to this earlier in the week but I believe he also voted for Kleppe No. 1. For us, of course, it helped that we saw him dominate the UMHB game.

Maybe the other 29 members should be reminded about the UWW/Wesley game being streamed......... ;D

Congrats to Ryan Kleppe for being named regional finalist.  On saturday show everyone why you were nominated to receive the Gagliardi.  GO HAWKS!!!

UWWHAWKSWR

Hey Hawks.  Wishing you all good luck this weekend.  Wesley is playing for revenge of that complete domination that took place last year.  I know we all want MU again but first things first.  Take care of this weekend and we can worry about Salem on Sat. night.  We need to put points on the board to take some of that pressure off the defense. Congrats Kleppe!

When was the last time a DL won a football award when the other nominees for the award were QBs and a RB?

KitchenSink

Congrats, Ryan Kleppe.

Good luck this weekend, Hawks.  Going to have to tidy up the play a little - let's stay onsides and off the masks.  Wesley looks potent, but let's put them in the deep freeze.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Do we know for sure if the game is being streamed?  I haven't seen anything on the official UWW website or warhawkfootball.com as of yet.  I hope it is.....I'm starting to get spoiled being able to watch all the games on the internet!

Dallas - Saturday's game WILL be available via webcast. The link will be found on the UWW athletic website.  I understand over 8000 were hooked onto last Saturday's UWW-St. Johns webcast.

Pat Coleman

Wow ... welcome back!

We understand there will also be an NCAASports.com videocast of both semifinals on Saturday but we're awaiting details.

Who cares about the chants your all a bunch of Sissy Nanny's, nothing is going to stop it unless the other team stops f'in up so just drop it.

Do you honestly think your Athletic Director will put up with another weekend of this behavior?

Enough already, wasn't this put to rest? ...but in a way, I like how the SJU crowd are making a concerted effort to keep this issue in our collective conscience. Do you think it will have any influence on behavior this weekend? It will be interesting with another webcast and possibly thousands of non-UWW fans listening and viewing the action from all corners of the world. It's amazing how much crowd noise/chants are picked up on those UWW TV microphones!!

This issue has been beaten to death, and I really cringe at the thought of posting about it.

However, you make it sound like this is a new thing that happened this past week and you expect action to stop it.  These chants have been the same for over a year now.  I promise you that these chants were occuring last year when we played SJU as well.... you may not have noticed them, but they were there.

I'm not saying they are right or wrong, I'm just pointing out that if you think this is a new happening that our AD has never heard until this week that is not the case.  The chants have been the same for some time now, and honestly this week is the first I have heard complaints about them.

I have a co-worker who comes to the games with her children.  She is a middle school teacher and I know that she is a pretty strict parent when it comes to language.  This is now going to be a lunch room conversation tomorrow.  This has never come up in our conversations about the games, I'm curious to see her opinion on it.  I'll let you know what the verdict is.

I would have to say that when you loose you tend to look for something to bitch about hmmmmmm I wounder if SJ's would have won what those boys would be talkn about right now   well dusty if your gona be watching the game this weekend best bring your ear muffs with you  to your computer chair  :-*

You know... if there was a heated debate about the GAME this weekend, maybe people would stop focusing on the student behavior conversation.

Where are all the Wesley fanatics?  There should be ample bitterness after that shilacking that took place last year.

I'll be the first to throw out a prediction.  Wesley's offense looks pretty potent, and the weather forcast is for 40's :(   I was hoping for about a high of 10 and a foot of snow.  So... I think this week will be a little more high scoring than last week.  I'll go with a Whitewater victory.   28-24.

I'll give SJU credit, there following was much more enthusiastic.  Last week was entertaining.
