Where are all the Wesley fanatics?  There should be ample bitterness after that shilacking shellacking that took place last year.

I'll give SJU credit, there their following was much more enthusiastic.  Last week was entertaining.

Maybe they all realize it's futile to even try to humor us in the Johnnies wake.

BoBo Disclaimer:  In order to clarify the meaning of the word wake in the above mentioned statement, as to not upset, insult or in any way defame any SJU faithful or guardians, be advised that the word wake as used in said statement is not ..."a watch held over the body of the dead prior to burial and sometimes accompanied by festivity" but rather ..."the track left by a moving body (as a ship) in a fluid (as water); broadly : a track or path left."

Who cares about the chants your all a bunch of Sissy Nanny's, nothing is going to stop it unless the other team stops f'in up so just drop it.

Do you honestly think your Athletic Director will put up with another weekend of this behavior?

This issue has been beaten to death, and I really cringe at the thought of posting about it.

However, you make it sound like this is a new thing that happened this past week and you expect action to stop it.  These chants have been the same for over a year now.  I promise you that these chants were occuring last year when we played SJU as well.... you may not have noticed them, but they were there.

I'm not saying they are right or wrong, I'm just pointing out that if you think this is a new happening that our AD has never heard until this week that is not the case.  The chants have been the same for some time now, and honestly this week is the first I have heard complaints about them.

I have a co-worker who comes to the games with her children.  She is a middle school teacher and I know that she is a pretty strict parent when it comes to language.  This is now going to be a lunch room conversation tomorrow.  This has never come up in our conversations about the games, I'm curious to see her opinion on it.  I'll let you know what the verdict is.

They were noticed. in fact, they were noticed by the NCAA last year.

I wonder if they might warn the officiating crew to literally interpret the rules and start flagging UWW 15 yards at a time for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Congrats, Ryan Kleppe.

Good luck this weekend, Hawks.  Going to have to tidy up the play a little - let's stay onsides and off the masks.  Wesley looks potent, but let's put them in the deep freeze.

Dallas - Saturday's game WILL be available via webcast. The link will be found on the UWW athletic website.  I understand over 8000 were hooked onto last Saturday's UWW-St. Johns webcast.

Good to see you on the board, Voice!!!  I was one of the 8,000 and it was truly wonderful to be able to watch the game from my warm room in Va.  Hope to do it again Saturday. ;D ;D ;D

Checkout this picture from the UWW website, paying close attention to the "gentleman" in the red hat in the lower right corner.  It wouldn't have been that hard to crop him out of the picture.

At this point, I think a certain  few of you Johnnies are bashing UWW.  If you want to talk about how horrible UWW is, then go back on your MIAC board and take care of it.  Come back here when you want to talk about your non-conference games for 2007.

Face it the Johnnies lost to whitewater AGAIN, and know they are mad and they are just pointing out the fact that the students were chanting BullS**t and You F***** Up.
I am a senior at UWW and you know what I am going to say whatever I want as it wasn't that long ago the students barely showed up. Also I have had some of the football coaches as teachers and one of them swore all the time and he also has the reputation for dropping the F-Bomb every other word on the practice field.
Either way the students are at he games let them express how they feel; we pay a lot of money to go to UWW. Which we feel is the Harvard of the Midwest. Also we are much smarter at least we think we are then the kids in Madison as some of them don't care if they even make it to the games on Saturday's why because they would rather drink all day. Well the UWW students who don't go home because we are a suitcase college are going to drink but we are also going to show up on time.
I know sometimes what we say is inappropriate. However it is what it is, and I would like to see them kick the entire student section out of the game, yeah that would make the stands go from" You F***ed Up and BullSh*t to
GO WARHAWKS GO clap clap.
Even though the second one is more appropriate. The first one comes the students of the school, and this is our team our school and we are going to have fun the way we want.
I never thought U Dub Dub would ever make it this far once in my years here but twice that's even cooler. Let the students enjoy it, as we are only in college once, and I am sure there are people who did worse when they were in college

UDubDub

God you Johnnie fans are sweet  yea we may be rude  but atleast we sent the sent you guys  packing two yrs straight   :-*  have a fun weeknd guys .... and the funny thing is before all this chating started i never had a problem with SJ's now i put them right up there in my least fav teams tied for first with LAX .....warhawksrock well put  yea lets rip on kids who are going to the games great idea  maybe if SJ's had more than what looked like 20 kids under the age of 25 we could have done the F u  eat shi% chat with them ooooooooo wait thats right they prob would have found that distastefull and rude and classless and imature and on and on    .......and yes i dont  care if my grammer isnt perfect seeing as im typeing as fast as i can right now tryn not to get caught by my comp sci prof  so sorry to all u Eng majors out there

It is great to see the student support but if that support depends on their shouting expletives and other embarassing chants then they are not really there to support the team. Really, it is embarassing at the Badger games and it is embarassing at the Warhawk games. If you think you are better than the Madison students then show some more class and act like "the Harvard of the midwest". "It is what it is" is not a justification for anything.

U DUB, DUB.
I wouldn't even put Lacrosse in the same class as the Johnnies. The eagles lost and congratulated us and then left us alone. The Johnnies are still crying over the fact that they lost. Worse then that they are complaining about things that didn't even happen on the field.
Stop crying Johnnies, your season is over because the Warhawks got it done on the field. I am not the brightest bulb in the bunch, however you  might have won if you just threw the all to your real tallWR as our DB's were much shorter then he was. However you didn't and you Losy.
SO GET OVER IT ENJOY WATCHING THE HAWKS BRINGING BACK THE STAGG BOWL TROPHY BACK TO THE WEST, and having the Johnnies just another W in a long list of them for the legend Bob berezowitz and the best QB ever Justin Jacobs.
Okay I am of to get my 2 for 1 tickets and I am paying good hard money for these tickets, and if I want to swear well I think thats my first amendment right in the constitution.
So with that EARMUFFS EARMUFFS YOU Fu**ed UP,You Fu**ed Up, Bullsh*t,Bullsh*t.

It makes me feel a little warm and fuzzy that UWW will be back in the midle of the WIAC in the not too distant future :P

Udub and warhawkrock- I agree with you guys 99%. I too am glad to see more students attending games. I also agree if you are easily insulted by language etc., you shouldn't sit by the student section. I sit way up high in the section that is NEVER full.
My problem is what to tell the guy who takes 2 or 3 little kids to the game, sits far away from the students, and has to hear the chants anyway. Would you really chant those things if you were face to face with a five year old girl? I doubt it. But where do you sit these kids when the whole stadium rocks with it? Aren't you basically forcing the families to NOT attend the game? Is that fair?
I was young once, and yes I did some things worse than this. I'm not too proud of them now though, and I hoped you guys in this generation would be smarter than me. Regardless of what you decide to do, and I know you can do whatever you want, good luck to the Warhawks.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Well, that's the understatement on the year!

MUC is a different beast.  If you barely beat SJU, MUC is gonna thrash you (if you make it to the Stagg).

Barber Greene,
If it is so embaressing why hasn't anyone stopped it in Madison or Whitewater. I am not a betting man. However I would put money on it that the students will once again be doing there chants and no one is going to get kicked out of the student section.
It just won't happen, because they want the students to be there as it was not too long ago that the students never showed up.
If it is that embaressign to coach Brez Chancellor Saunders,The AD Plinske, then why don't they send out a mass email tot he students asking them to not do it. Oh wait chancellor WIley tried that at Wisconsin and what happen, they just chanted there things louder.
Also Duffman, The Hawks awill be on top of the WIAC for a while we have Beaver for another year and we will reload not rebuild. The Warhawks are here to stay.

This doesn't make it right!!

If you can't get through a game without "You F'd Up" in your repertoire there is a problem. Try to be creative, for goodness sakes.
