With the questions about the Hawks offense because the last two games were close, then the student section talk, now the canon.................seems like a conspiracy to take the Hawks out of their game. (Joking)  ;)  ;D  Hope it just ticks them off.  This team has proven that they can overcome.    Time for the weekly chant:

GO WARHAWKS.........GO WARHAWKS.........GO WARHAWKS
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

"Three things you don't want to be in football, slow, small and friendly!"  John Madden

life." Paul Dietzel / LSU

If you want to silence the cannon all you have to do is keep UWW from scoring. ;D  The Johnnies did that much better this year than last year but UWW still got two or three blasts off.

Good luck this weekend UWW.  Win tomorrow and bring the Stagg back to the West.
Go Johnnies!!!

Retired Old Rat

Good luck tomorrow Warhawks.  Counting on you to finish the job this year.

That canon thing is weak sauce.  Stop the Warhawks from scoring and you silence the canon.  That simple.

Those poor Wesley players probably still have ringing in their ears from hearing that cannon so many times in last year's game. Oh well, I guess that complaint shows how much confidence they have in their defense. GO WARHAWKS

Wesley complained to the NCAA about our canon?? ???  WOW...I'm left speechless. :-X
You can't have everything.....Where would you put it?

Now I have a reason to simply lose respect for Wesley .....the canon is unfair. Did we complain in Texas when the student section banged garbage cans every time we had the ball making it difficult to audible or call signals. Maybe we should promise also not to make noise when they have the ball.....simply what a bunch of PUSSIES!! I guess when you have 10 home games you need to bitch about anything when you are on the road......SIMPLY LUDICROUS. Let's POUND THE ROCK ON THESE GUYS AND MONKEY STOMP THEM ALL THE WAY BACK TO DOVER!!! PUSSIES!!!!!!....This is a great way to get the student section to go nuts......Brilliant NCAA!!!!...

While I am on a roll congrats to all the All-West Region Selections. I realize that some players are left off but how #47 and #40 from Whitewater didn't make it is simply mind-boggling. And again win or lose the Wolverines and their 50 fans or do that come are simply a bunch of PUSSIES. Maybe we can put in field turf tonight so they won't be uncomfortable.PUSSIES!!!!!!.....

Apparently, noise makers are banned by the NCAA in the post-season only  according to a post on here by Pat after the UMHB/UWW game, if I remember right.  Inconsistant and rediculous.

Simply a pile of crap......No canon.......Whitewater would never do anything so lame. Feel free Canon Guy to set up right with the Goo Crew and set it off in the parking lot . A CLASSLESS MOVE BY THE WOLVERINES WHO NOW WILL BE REFERRED TO AS "THE PUSSIES"..................

Sakman,

Would you please tell us how you really feel about Wesley and the cannon,  I totally agree just sounds better from you ;) ;D
If you wanna be good practice till you get it right, if you wanna be great practice till you cant get it wrong..

We can only hope that Wesley's staff and team has spent time worrying about the cannon.  Some how I doubt that however.

Could someone from Wesley tell me if there is something that is a tradition at Wesley that UMH-B had complained to the NCAA about and they weren't allowed to do in that game?  Or is that rumor just nonsense.

Everyone Whitewater nominated made the team. I asked them about their nominations and they said Berezowitz made the final call on who to put up for recognition. I have to respect that and I would think you should too.

And hey, what's with the shouting?

That's not inconsistent at all. Lots of things are different in the postseason. The NCAA does not make a lot of those kind of rules for regular season games, preferring to leave that to the jurisdiction of the conferences.

A reminder about shouting in all-caps, those posts will be removed.

Also, for a program that has had its fans painted with a broad brush the past couple of weeks, I'm disappointed that a Whitewater parent is willing to paint Wesley fans with something they had no hand in. That's really just wrong.
