BDB, get off your high horse.  At least Strop took the high road but naming Naatz, jeez, what difference does that make?  Him and Carey are the other two alot of the players would like to see go.  You have no idea what it's like to play for these guys.
I may not have much to say, but I'll say it anyway.

Exactly right pastprime!! And last time I checked BDB, you were only one person.  You are free to state your opinion, but the bottom line is, I provide FACTS!!

CaptainKurt

When in doubt,
Go to Stout.
If you can't make there,
Go to Eau Claire.

Sorry to hear your not happy BDB.  I can relate as a WW fan.  Like I said before, politics are a mutha.

I'm well established into my career BDB and for your information I make far more money than the local hot dog vendor.  For future topics lets try not to be so blind to reality!! I understand u guys are friends, but as the old saying goes "wake up and smell the coffee"

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I wanna ask this to the older guys who have witnessed coaching changes in the WIAC................ is it always this political and are people always outraged when a new coach comes in??

First Whitewater and then Stout's fans are pissed......I can't wait to see what happens at Lacrosse.

Oh yeah and Blue Devil Bob, if I could give out karma I would for your picture and the caption. I laughed so hard when I saw it and realized what it was supposed to be.

Every time a coach leaves a high profile sport someone is unhappy. Also, some people are happy. The only time people are happy when a coach leaves is if he leaved on his own terms, like coach Bob in WW!God Bless!

96- I remember some of it at UWO when Cardo quit. People wanted the D coordinator. They got over it real quick though.

The problem is these assistant head coaches are kinda promised by the coach they will get the head job eventually. Canny at UWO was told that, and Brez and Z sat right in my living room in 2000, and Brez told me Z would be the coach if he retired. No wonder they get upset.

As far as the Stout mess, I don't remember anyone getting "forced out".

Stoutguy--you are being noticably quiet on this thing.

Thank you for noticing and we will leave it at that for now.

This is just a question out of ignorance, not a political statement: was there an actual link between the chancellor and the coach's resignation? Did one of the releases make a connection or is it common knowledge that that's how the resignation came about? I'm no fan of chancellors--although I would rather have a chancellor who does something over a chancellor who flies around the country playing golf on the university's dime (external chancellor). Anyway, I agree that a couple drug-dealing football players shouldn't cost a coach a job, unless the drug-dealing was also common knowledge. How is the rest of the coaching staff taking this?

As a side note: T sent the football workout schedule home with his women's basketball team a couple summers ago. Do you think he was preparing for an overthrow?
