Some people on this board must really enjoy bring up issues where they do not exist..  Schools using their resources and spending their money on pro days?? where in the heck did that come from??  The pro-days that Whitewater and Stout are having do not cost a dime!! Scouts ask to come and test these athletes out, to see if athletically they have enough talent to get a shot at making a NFL team.  All you need is the indoor facility at the respective institution reserved and thats it.. no money involved..

This information that WW has some scouts looking at a few boys sure seems to have some MUC and SJU posters bent out of shape.  It is nothing personal, Boys.   Really!  Remember, you guys still have the Walnut and Bronze!

I don't think Mount Union even has a Pro Day.  If any players are worth a look, they get invited to OSU, Akron or Kent.

Not you at all, (I did say, "some.") but how about this one?

As Kirasdad as already made mention, Mount does not have a pro-day, or have they ever.  I guess there is just that many more talented, pro-possible players at WW than Mount.   
Although.....the names Kern, Adamson, and Pugh might dispute that claim.  All of them went to Kent State, Akron, or some bigger school in Ohio to show their skills. 

My main question is......who are the 3 or 4 kids from WW?  The tight end due to his size/speed?  Stanley?  MAYBE at best....but I don't see it. 

Not exactly supportive of these players.  We should all root for any D-3 players from any program to make it to the big show, don't you think?

When you mention a Pro Day, I think of many players, scouts, media hype...all that jazz.

What resources does hosting a pro-day actually require?  I don't really see what it takes other than to reserve the Kachel Fieldhouse on UWW's campus for a few hours while some student-ATHLETES try their best in chasing down their dream in front of NFL scouts.  Is there something else that is extremely expensive that a pro-day requires that I am missing?  

And is it just me, or does it seem that a certain group of posters on these boards choose to create alliances with each other based on who they are rather than on what they are actually saying?  To me, this seems to be the case, and is very cowardly in its own internet-way.  Even something like Post Patterns has come to be dominated by the politics that be, which is pretty lame IMO.

Word to your mothers everyone.  Enjoy the Super Bowl.   The Packers will see you all at this time next year!!!!

Yes.....the rolling eyes thing meant I was being sarcastic...but in a joshing, friendly, let's rag on each other way.  It's kind of what this board has been about over the years. 

I still would really like to know who are the 3 or 4 guys that the scouts have asked to see at WW.  If any of them would make it, you can be sure that as a D-III fan all would be supportive. 

What Mount player/fan/alumnae wouldn't want to say......"see that guy.....Mount played against him TWICE and beat him both times".
