All anyone can do is wait and see what happens.  It's quite obvious that Max whoever is just jealous and can't seem to let it go.  Max, it's ok, let it go, let it go.  Relax, take a couple of deep breaths and let go of all your anger Max.  It's ok, just let it go. ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Feel better Maxie?

I dont understand why everyone is getting so upset.  The reason why Im posting isnt jealousy or because Im mad.  Its because I enjoy good discussion and seeing other views on these topics.  If I get to personal for you people Im sorry that is just how I am.   I love how people love that name dropping and then hide behind screen names and hide their emails.
Thanks Pat for running the best D3 sports website ever.

You would think being "national offensive lineman of the year" he would have better things to do than to keep posting on a discussion board.

What does that really mean?  Because he was a good football player, he can't post opinions?

You know what.....everyone....take the weekend off.  No posting.  Drive your Stratus' on the open highway with the windows down and come back fresh on Monday.

As another whitewater alum I have a problem with you "bobhawk" and "madhawk".  What happened to expressing your feelings and own personal insights...  And what makes either of you two experts on the format of the english language...  His points may be a little biased but he also put his blood, sweat, and (triple orders) i mean tears into football with beaver so of course he is going to think he is the best RB to run, Hell, with that being said, WHERE IS CHAD WURTH. Now there is a class act running back with a warhawk past.  I think he is the best.  and better than engle-whatever, and childs.  If we want to get into quality lax backs, throw my guy ben dorsey in the mix.  HE was a former teamate of mine, and one hell of a football player.  this isn't the mel kiper forum fellas, we all get to express our 2 cents because this is america!! AMEN and go hawks!! and stan z too!!!

Madhawk

Actually, I think Chad Wurth was just as good as Beaver.  They are both the same type of running back, Wurth just had less around him than Beaver had.  Both are good DIII players and that is it.

I just wanted to keep everyone posted on Ryan and Jesse.  Here is a recent story done on Eau Claire News 18.  Once opening the page, click on the small red video camera to play the story.

Chad wurth had a pretty decent line,  All american Chad Nimm, and San Diego Chargers camp invitee Matt Buenning, not to mention a young budding GOO 62.  also a pretty decent short yardage te.

I may not have much to say, but I'll say it anyway.

Great Story!!  In the Milwaukee Journal it says Derek Stanley has another workout this week with the St. Louis Rams.  Good luck to him!!

razor_ramone

I agree it was a great story. I was disappointed that there was a clip of Wendt catching a TD against the Hawks in 2005 :'(.
Let's keep our fingers crosse that one of the four get a call in two weeks.
I also heard a rumor from one of his warhawk teammates that Beunning only lasted a day at the Chargers mini camp. I don't know how accurate that is, but lets hope if that rumor is true that any of those four last longer then a day at mini camp.
Gotta beat the best to be the best otherwise your just one of the rest

Max Sakellaris truly is embarrassing anyone associated with Whitewater football!!

Max, I'm associated with WARHAWK football and you do not embarrass me.   In fact quite the opposite.  One comment, whether I agree or not, in no way over rules the years of dedicated committment from you.  Committment that has propelled our program to heights not seen since the 1960's.  And any WARHAWK fan who thinks otherwise is simply mistaken.

Thanks for everything, Max, it's been a hell of a ride.  Good luck wherever life takes you after this.

Not to be the spelling nazi in this place, but your spelling of Beunning is wrong.  Its actually spelled "Buenning" but I guess you didn't see 1 for 27's correct spelling.  An easy visual oversight, but a mistake nonetheless.

Which also in fact brings up another excellent point about Mr. Wurth indeed, being an outstanding back who had a good o-line.  I think the bigger issue on those UW-W squads was shaky defensive play and lack of a big-play threat at the wide receiver position that Stanley brought to the table during the last couple years.   On the Wurth led squads teams would stack the box with 8 and there was little or no running room.  Speed and the threat to hit the home run at anytime really helped to keep defenses on their heels during the last several years for the Hawks which the teams that Wurth was on did not have.  Remember you can win ball games with offense, but you need defense to win championships......Its an old addage, but true to form almost everytime.  In my opinion the Whitewater teams in '05 and '06 clearly had superior defensive and offensive play at all the key positions and their record the last two years shows it.
