...if you can't beat'em, join'em - is that how the story will read if true?!!

It would be a tough blow to Lakeland as well.  He kind of put them on the map.  And with June already here...wow, not a good situation to be in.

Zabrowski is a 1991 grad of Mount Union, so your "can't beat 'em, join 'em" line takes on another meaning.   :)

If this is true, then.........WOW, is right..........especially when you consider the exta salt in the wound of not only losing your HC to the WARHAWKS in June but THEN having him on the other side of the field when you get your a$$ kicked in your first outing of the season two months later!

The official word on UW-Whitewater's new offensive coordinator will be coming in the next couple of days.

KennethK,

Here is the top 25 according to Lindys preseason. Not much of an article unless you happen to be a Raiderguy!! All but one small paragraph was about MUC.That's OK by me but not worth buying.  They kept mentioning somebody named Kmic and Garcon. Anybody hear of them? ::) They did mention Justin Beaver and projected him the offensive player of the year in D3. They had 1st & 2nd team AA's and a short synopsis (sentence) on each of the 25. Also some key game matchups throughout the season.

I love coffee at Borders. Just read it there.

1. Raiders
2. Mary Hardin Baylor
3. Wisconsin Whitewater
4. Trinity (Texas) the other one doesn't count.
5. Wesley (owned by WW and St Johns plays them tougher)
6. Hardin-Simmons
7. St Johns (a little surprised with all they have back)
8. Rowan
9. Central
10. Bethel ?
11. Capital (even without Rocky)
12. North Central
13. St. John Fisher
14. Springfield
15. Wheaton
16. Wabash
17. Wartburg
18. W & J
19. Wilkes
20. Cal Lutheran (of course no mention of QB issue if it still is an issue)
21. Baldwin Wallace
22. Alfred
23. Hobart
24. Whitworth
25. U. W. LaCrosse

I am a little surprised there is no mention of Linfield.??? I think they are better than that. Anybody else missing from this list?
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

Interesting preseason rankings.  Thanks, Kenneth.

I think the real Top 5 should look like this
Mt Union
UWW
MHB
ST. Johns
St Johns Fisher

Whatever Lindy's or anybody else does as a Top 25 at this time of the year is simply a crap shoot (except for MUC as #1) and something I don't personally take much stock in.  Of course the consumer drives the boat here.

I'd much rather see the Farmers' Almanac Top 25.  I think those people would do a better job at picking the preseason top teams than many of these so call sport magazines or whatever!!

What, no Linfield in the top 25.  That is nuts.  I figure the Cats right back in the Western region play off mix.

Warhawk 96

How about LAX being ranked 25th with Central and Bethel ranked 10th......... ::)
No love for the NWC. My guess is that they just took the win loss records of all of the teams in the playoffs and rounded out the bottom 20 with it. Pay Lindy's no mind.

That really tells you something about Warhawk football right now...how many guys leave a head coaching and athletic director position at a DIII school to become an offensive coordinator at another DIII school?

Sakman 1111

New O coordinator seems solid, Dink is back as Oline coach, the Warhawks are loaded with recruits, Beaver is totally healthy, and Danny Jones is a reality.......still miss Z but we have moved on. Go Warhawks! Pound the Rock!........
