Badgerwarhawk, we are concerned about reciprocity, too.  Lots of students from Minnesota.

Off the top of my head, I don't know about athletes from Minnesota.

Actually he is in Whitewater now and I can only assume that is happening. Seems like a nice young man who I am told can run and pass..... This week he is painting a house in Oak Park .....

Just for the record...Oak Park, is also the town adjacent to Thousand Oaks where CLU is located...coincidence?

Just for the record, a quick check through the US Census Bureau will find 7 Oak Park listings (or very close variations) - Illinois, Michigan, California, Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota, and Missouri.

So, if anyone in those locations have a Danny Jones sighting (or a house currently being painted), please report in!!  I think Mr. Jones is having his "Elvis Moment!!"

I suspect Sak was referring to Oak Park, Ill.

Goal Line Stand,

My math tells me the chances would be 1 in 26.....

Ya, because there are just as many last names beginning with Z compared to the rest of the alphabet!!  ::) ;)

I suspect you are right, BW, since I believe that is where he lives.  ;)

Sorry to cause confusion but I was referring to Oak Park, Illinois where Danny is painting a house as college students do to make some $$$$. He will be back in Whitewater this weekend when the job is finished . No worry he is working out with some current and ex-Whitewater players daily. Great to hear Dink will be Offensive line coach and Run Coordinator that will insure cohesiveness with the offensive line and zone blocking schemes.....solid move by the head coach. It appears Whitewater will continue to Pound the Rock.......

It does sound like UWW will contunue to have success on the field. I never doubted that as they truly hired one of their own, an Alum.
My question is how are those lakeland players going to feel when they go against Whitewater and their former head coach is calling the plays? That is the real question.
Just like how is coach Z going to feel on October 6,2007?
My guwss is that the lakeland players will use it as motivation in a good way. While coach Zweifel gets all nutty like he sometimes did for a game which could backfire on him. Which as a whitewater fan I hope happens for the Hawks. Either way hawls win big on September 1 and October 3.
Gotta beat the best to be the best otherwise your just one of the rest

Let's hope it happens as somethign like this will bring all the hawks back to UW-W

How will Lakeland feel? the same as every year: "Crap, we lost by 60 again." ;D. They might try and blame it on the coach knowing their plays/schemes.

Right on 96......How Lakeland feels will not be a factor.....Their goal should be this year to keep the Warhawks under 75 points.......

With the ability to recruit the twin cities area extensively Zweifel is going to upgrade the talent level at UW-RF and make them a much more competitive opponent.  It may not be evidenced this season but mark my words.  They're going to be much better in the not to distant future.

See alot on recruits going to the other WIAC Schools.  Any word on recruits coming into Stout.  Do they have any transfers that might be able to help this coming year.

Sorry 99, I am really out of touch with the new regime at this point.

Maybe some of the other Stout guys can help you out.

Listen, I am a Lakeland Muskie Football Player...Coach Zebrowski was a guy who was very close to me as a player and a coach. I am happy and proud he is making his way up considering allot of people look at the UW schools as D2 schools pretty much with the talent and success.

As far as Sept. 1st and the things that have been said..Assuming our Athletic Director still keeps that game on our schedule, I am looking forward to playing Whitewater. It's a great oppurtunity to play a team as well coached and organized as Whitewater..plus it's great knowing that I clotheslined a guy who got drafted in the NFL last year.  ;) Competion makes you better and it's always great stepping up to a challenge..Yeah yeah, they beat us by 75 the last two years...as well they should..The Lakeland Muskies did make some pretty damn good plays in that game too btw, but whitewater doesnt make any mistakes hardly and you get that outcome..

Everything is a learning experiece and Football is about competition and sportsmanship..Let Coach Z leave his family at Lakeland and go to a new one, that may break bonds..but the Lakeland Football team will keep our pride knowing we sweat and bled Lakeland Fooball for whatever Coach that comes in..

It's like that movie 300...You fight for the Warriors next to u...Thats all i got, talk smack if u would like but we'll be seeing Oshkosh and Whitewater this upcoming year and I will speak for everyone on the team and say, "We'll stand and fight for what we beleive in. That's enjoying the game of football regardless".. Best of luck to the UW schools
