Warhawk squad as of today has just been posted...including two deeps...wait a minute, where are AJ Raebel and Tristan Borzick on the two deeps?

http://www.uww.edu/athletics/mfootball/roster.html

The Journal-Sentinal story Homecoming a challenge for Leipold in the previous post, indicates why Raebel and Borzick are absent from the 2 deeps.  It says "Raebel is recovering from a concussion, and Borzick is sidelined with a leg injury."  They will not play this weekend at Lakeland.

So who has the scoop on going up to Lakeland for the Whitewater game?  From their website it looks like a fairly small stadium.  Any hassle to parking on campus?
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

I've got Stout winning tomorrow and finishing up the season at least 5-5..  They will surprise some teams!!

Any thought??

Devil Badger Gopher

Does anyone know why Andy Reese is not listed on the 2-Deep roster for Stout?
I think Stout does have some upside, but from a team last year that had a lot more talent I am not sure how the season will play out.  A new offense and defense may catch some people off guard, but I am not sure if they have the studs on the team.  It will surely be interesting tomorrow night.

Could if be the same reason the WW guys were not on their 2 deep, injury?

Whitewater transfer Stetson Grant gets starting nod at fullback for UWEC, as Scotty Osborn is out for the season, having torn his ACL in practice...

supposedly the pointers will be on the 'Net.

That's a TV broadcast link above.  Seems to be working.

If you want to listen to the Pointer broadcast tune in to WWSP (89.9 FM) or on the web at http://www.uwsp.edu/stuorg/wwsp/90fmlive/ListenToUsLive.html

At the half -
UWEC 14, Southwest Minnesota State - 5

Blugolds score twice in the first quarter on a DB Zach Paul 20-yard TD INT
and
a busted play, QB sneak by Kyle Paulson for a two-yard TD...

SWMS answers twice in the second quarter with a safety on a bad snap over the UWEC punter's head, and just kicked a 31-yard FG to end the half...

Oh, forget it, I just saw it on the live scoreboard EC 35 - 13 beginning the 4th.  Looks like EC picks up the first win of the year, impressively.

It is now 42-13 and EC just picked off a pass.

After a 14-5 halftime lead, UWEC wins 42-13....

Southwest Minnesota State scores on a short run, and adds the two pointer (28-13),

and Gold's close out the quarter with a short TD run by Cory Sartorelli, who had 100+ yards rushing... (35-13)

The Golds score a final TD in the 4th with the subs playing, as RB Abou Amara scores his first Blugold TD on a short run (42-13)...
