My son plays for UW-Stout, and Andy Reese has been battling a bad knee all of camp, possibly grade 2 MCL tear.. they expect him to be ready for the 1st conference game for sure!!

EXBADGER:  Uncalled for speculation.

I suggest you delete the post.

Deleted! However...  Regardless if he is healthy or not, he won't be seeing the field until after week three.  Fact.

From the Wisconsin State Journal, ...Warhawks air out some concerns

Interesting quote of the day:

"Defenses are going to look at us and want to stop the run and Justin Beaver first.  If they don 't stop the run, they 're in for a long day."  Lance Leipold

Good luck to the Warhawks and former SCIAC player Danny Jones in the opener at Lakeland tomorrow.  Jones was damn impressive against my Oxy Tigers last year, hope he does as well for UWW.

cheers,

UW-Stout has taken a 3-0 1st quarter lead against Menlo on a Marty Platek 35-yard FG following a nine play, 45 yard drive.

They are driving again at the Menlo 12, 1st and 10.

Live stats can be found here on the Stout website:

Just as fast as I entered "Post", Menlo intercepts in the endzone killing the scoring opportunity.  Menlo takes over at the 20, 1st and 10 with 1:50 remaining in the 1st quarter.

+karma to you for showing support for Jones.  Watched him at the UWW inter-squad last weekend and I would agree.  He is the real deal!

Stout live stats aren't so live anymore (for me).  Any others "watching" having trouble, too?
