It is true Falcon is a nice guy but the mayor should be a nice guy. Twice a year the Johnnie supporters come to the front on the WIAC board with never ending conversation about how good they are, overplanned tailgating arrangements, their storied history, Gagliardi, and their attendance figures. Hold on Fred they will be gone soon and the playoffs will be upon us and they will be gone again quickly free to talk on the MIAC board about such scintillating topics as ice fishing and college hockey.....Fred see you at the Perk......

I have a feeling getting there early won't be a problem. ;)

Don't count on it.  While the "flash in the pan" Warhawks have had a little post-season success in 2005 and 2006, the Johnnies are poised for another run to the Stagg to bring home the hardware that the Warhawks couldn't.  Someone's got to bring it back to the West!!! ;D

More banter about the past , Duffman. Hope to see you in the playoffs in November......that will be the present and only that will count....

I guess I have to step up to the plate to talk some smack for my Falcons.  We've been an easy team to over look for some years now, but the program has been changing for the better and might have finally turned the corner.

The Johnnies better not overlook the Falcons or they'll be in for a rude awakening and an L in the win/loss column...

It will be great to have all you St. John's fans, you always provide a great atmosphere.  I look forward to a great game tomorrow.

Go Falcons!

Hi Everyone,

Supposedly St. John's is bringing 80 players.  They must believe that they are going to be able to get their young guys some PT.   The Falcons are going to come out and be very physical against St. Johns.  I wish that back from 1994-1996 the Johnnies would have accepted our offer to play them..-----If they had, the St. John's Fans would have some very bad memories of those games.  I could say without a doubt that we would have pounded them.  I am hoping that the Falcons can restore the tradition that has been set before him.  GOOOOO Falcons----Pound on the Pretty Boys!!!!!!!!!!! :o  Maybe this will get things going.

Former Player ;D

If this years St. Johns team is anything like the 05 and 06 teams r falls may have a chance because those were extremely soft teams.  Falls is really weak at the skill positions, aside from Anderson, so it will be hard for them to put up a lot of points. Needs to be low scoring for Falls to have a chance and even then its a long shot.  As far as the johnnies making a Stagg bowl run, id be more concerned about winning your conference. (then again the conference is a joke)

The '06 Johnnie team was soft?  They only lost to the Warhawks 17-14, and you seem to think the Warhawks are pretty bad-assed. :D

Frankly, I'd be surprised it UWW won the WIAC this year.

Sure... ::)  I was a young pup then, but I remember SJU being pretty tough those years.

I'm pretty sure no one would overlook a team that put up 54 points and over 500 yards of offense last week.

With a healthy Beaver that margin would have probably been around 2tds.  The guy was playing with a broken collar bone in excruciating pain.  Also just because you field a good competitive team doesn't mean you aren't soft.  SJU has a really good team but they don't exactly get after you physically, they usually execute extremely well and play sound fundamental football.

It will be a struggle this year for the hawks in the wiac because of the coaching change I agree, but based on talent and experience they should go 10-0 for a 3rd year and hopefully face the johnnies.  Then the SJU faithful can check out then new video scoreboard at the perk before they get sent home for a 3rd straight year. :-*

I can live with that.  SJU plays a game that relies on speed, quickness, and exectution.  Brute force doesn't always win. :P  443 wins prove that.
