First off I would like to say I love Goo.

Second Spencer Johnson in my opinion was the best back to go through WW.  Ive blocked for Beaver and Wurth and watched alot of film on Spencer and he was incredible.

And lets not forget that if Colin Burns wouldnt have stopped playing because of injuries Beaver wouldnt be at the numbers he is now.  Not saying that he would have been starting but the 2 back system would have been real popular with the coaching staff at that time
If you wanna be good practice till you get it right, if you wanna be great practice till you cant get it wrong..

Would have made me happy as well.  I was really looking forward to having Beaver and Burns in the backfield together.

I agree on the two back system, that would have definitely kept Beaver's numbers down.  Just like they did to Bundgaurd and Englebert when they shared the load for just over a full season until Englebert almost lost leg in an automobile accident.  Had they not had to share the load Bundgaurd would have finished with over 5,000 yards and who is to say how many Englebert would have gained if he hadn't missed close to 20 games.  I believe they finished 1 and 2 in Stout history.

Goo 62

Bobhawk you simply are unreal.  you remind of skip bayless, you know that idiot on cold pizza that hasnt ever played a sport in his life.
As for burns, not many running backs run as hard as he did and i loved blocking for him but truthfully he only started because a young beaver was hurt and Im sure he would say the same.  Burns was a hell of a back although he is no Beaver.
If Englebert would of ran behind the 90's cowboys Oline he maybe would have the record. Beaver will rush for well over 5,000 for his career.

I for one am sick of the ---I know a back that is better than Beaver subject....Certainly everyone is entitled to their opinions except bobhawk because his opinions are just nutty......Does anyone know how Brady R. is and will he play tomorrow?.....

I was just getting ready to blast Goo for his problems with, at least in writing, the English language. Then he gives Skip Bayless a shot, and I have backed off since he knows a Mo-Ron when he hears one.

Even gave the old Karma a boost.

This game will not be close unless EC can throw the ball effectively, and if they are anything like EC of the past 3-4 years they wont be able to do this.
Last week they only threw the ball twice in the 2nd half.  With the starting QB down they must not feel to comfortable throwing.

warhawkclownshow

That could mean a lot of trouble since the hawks have only given up a little over 100 yards total rushing over the past 3 years to EC.

Football is a team sport.  QB's rely on their WR's and RB's rely on their O-lines and visa versa.  Records are an inexact science.  It is comparing apples and oranges but it is the only adequate measuring stick we have.  Justin Beaver earned the right to be the starting RB on the Warhawks two-time National Runner-Up teams and holds the record for most yards run in a single season in NCAA history at any level!!!!!   He now has broken the UWW and WIAC career rushing records and did it with missing one season and 5 games in another because of injury and still has most of his senior season to go!  I don't care how good his o-line has been, (and yes, they were and are good,) those are amazing accomplishments!

I dont know who the best running back for whitewater is/was or dont really care.  All I know is the best player to ever play for whitewater is Matt Turk.  No one can argue against that because I think he is the only player from Whitewater to play in the NFL.  Atleast for a long period of time.

Rather outlandish statement, I would say.  I think you put yourself directly in the crosshairs of longtime WW fans.  No disrespect for Matt Turk, as he has had a long and fruitful NFL career with multiple teams.  But, just playing in the NFL as a punter (no disrespect to any and all punters, too!) doesn't or shouldn't qualify him in my view to be the best WW player ever.  I doubt he would be considered in the top 10, in my view.

Now don't jump all over me for bringing this up but Beaver has had two years of playoff games that pretty much adds up to an additional season.
