Footballfan413,
Read your posting on Danny Jones "Danny Boy" as all his lady friends know him on Malibu beach , Zuma Beach and Santa Monica Beach in the L.A.Ca.and Thousand Oaks area about Danny named offensive player of the week in the WIAC Conference. Sara,Moly,Marisa,Yamilla,Ana,Isabelle, and Sharka, all were so happy to hear of his selection and they had a beach party to celebrate for Their  Danny Boy [former California Lutheran University QB]. All his beach lady  friends miss him so much and worry he will be freezing in Wisconsin soon but want him to know they will be thinking about him with warm thoughts. They all led a cheer as the sun set on Malibu  Beach -----keep on keeping on "Danny  Boy".

LMAO!!!  This kid must REALLY LOVE FOOTBALL!!  ;D
Thanks, Ladies.  I am sure your well wishes will find their way to,"Danny Boy!"

Reading some articles on the internet and noticed some really good chalkboard material.

"He's a great running back, but we have a great defense so we're not worried about one man," UW-L linebacker Adam Neitzel tells the La Crosse Tribune. "WE'RE PLENTY CAPABLE OF STOPPING HIM"

If history repeats itself for the past three years, I would have to disagree with that statement.  We'll just have to wait and see.  Good luck UWW.

Strong words and high hopes out of Lacrosse...............;D

It's going to take one hell of an effort to win on Saturday.  LaCrosse sounds stoked.  Not that you'd expect anything less from them.   We're going to need to be ready to play because they sure are.

I've heard Danny Jones surfs Lake Michigan.  ;)

Adam Neitzel is a ww washout who would have never played, just shows the talent difference between the two teams when lax's best backer would be a special teamer at ww.

I noticed FredFalcon and Stoutguy are not on  the WIAC pickums this year. After meeting both of them, it occurred to me, based on the resemblance, that they may be brothers. Anyone know?

They are brothers in the retired school teacher fraternity.

I've noticed that the drivers in River Falls are far superior than those here in Menomonie.

I don't know if fredfalcon ever taught Driver's Ed there, but I do know that Stoutguy taught Drivers Ed in Menomonie for decades.

I hold Stoutguy personally responsible everytime I see some dumb ass move by a driver here in our fair city.  ;D

You guys are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny.  I'm going to the  Ale House now to find out why Stout lost last week.  Janesvilleflash, why don't you join us.  You are always driving around looking for something to do.

Just returned from the Stout Touchdown Club luncheon where I always sit with Stoutguy.

Closed circuit to Stoutguy: Jake just called. You left your wifes cell phone at the Ale House.  :D

And another thing.  Just because both of us are bald, handsome, very bright,  and former HS English teachers, that does not make us brothers.

Jimmyl7:
Are you serious with the bulletin board material.  What are the LAX players supposed to say, "We are going to lose."  Of course they are going to say things like they did to show that they are confident.  Anytime people think that things showed be bulletin board material arent playing for the right reasons.  If it takes comments from a player on a different team to get you fired up to kick the crap out of the other team then you seriously dont love to win.  I hate it when people try to make stuff be bulletin board material.

warhawkclownshow:
ww washout?  So, because someone transfers out of a school and goes and succeeds at a different school makes him a washout.  So is Danny Jones a washout... he transferred.  How about Brandon Cyzs (sp?) he was a unanimous all-conference player last year and led the conference in tackles.  He transferred from LAX to Point so is he a washout.  What about Raebel or was it Widuch or both... not totally sure but didnt one or both of them transfer from the Badgers.  Must be washouts.

Neitzel is a good guy.  He just had the unfortunate timing of sitting behind future All Americans.   Something that has happened to a lot of players at UWW the last few years.  Widuch was a Badger transfer but Raebel began his career for the Warhawks in 03 and won the starting SLB position in 04 as a Red-Shirt Freshman.

All I was saying was that if he had stayed at WW he would have never found the field.  I pointed that out to show an example of the vast talent disparity between the two schools. (esp. at LB) Of course just because your more talented doesn't guarantee a victory.  Jones didn't transfer because he couldn't find the field he wanted to play at a national level, Widuch was out of football for a year and then decided he wanted to continue planning. (I guess you could call him a UW washout)

Just Bill

clownshow,

With a backpedal like that you must have been a cornerback.  Calling a guy a washout is significantly stronger than saying he was stuck behind better talent.
