Giving MHB feild position will be a killer.

stealth, did you consider what MHB did last sat in making this statement? Anyplace between the goal-line stripes is prime field position for that offense!!  ;)

To the Whitewater fans I met last year in Texas:

Sorry, I will not be able to make the return trip to Wisconsin this year.  :(  I really enjoyed meeting you guys who made the trip last year.  I sincerely hope the game lives up to the press it is getting.  I am trying to clear the time of the game so I can watch your pay-per-view webcast.  That is greatly appreciated by the fans in Texas.

Best of luck to all concerned and I am praying for no injuries this year!!!

Go Cru!!!  Go Roos!!!
Anything that you ardently desire, vividly imagine, totally believe and enthusiastically pursue will inevitably come to pass !!!

Nice Picture of Strop!! haha, that GREAT coach is doing a hell of a job with Hamline's Defense as they are consistently giving up 35+ points/game..    There definitely isn't anyone other than Blue Devil Bob that misses that guy around Menomonie.

Add one more person that misses "that guy" around Menomonie.  You had an issue with Todd.  Time to let it go.  It's people like you that make me happy to be just talking about football and basketball on the radio rather than trying to make people happy in the coaching business.  Todd was a hard working, intense, emotional coach who loved his job here in Menomonie.  Throw in the fact that he has a young family who loved it here as well.  Think about that the next time you find in necessary to rip  him.

Certainly not true.

Interesting how you feel the need to speak for all the other people in town.

Taking cheap shots like this is pretty low.

Hamline has been dismal for years.  Since 2000, the Johnnies have outscored them 382-20.  I hardly think it is fair to expect Strop to turn that around in one season.

Well said, Duff.  I was going to say that it is pretty difficult to cook a gourmet meal with old ingredients!  He needs a little time on the recruiting trail to build a program.

J44;  Completely ridiculous comment from you.  Your remarks are inconsistent with the overwhelming majority of folks I know personally from Menomonie, Minneapolis, St. Paul and St. Cloud.   :-[

J44 -

Pretty outspoken and ill-advised to say nobody misses Strop.  You have a problem with him and I'm okay with that.  I don't, I didn't and I continue to wish him the best of luck!

J44-
Your comments remind me of the saying: The surest sign of a small mind is a wide tongue.
I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with Mr. Strop last year and, in the short time I was with him, I was impressed with him as a person.
I was at the Hamline game last Saturday and watched Strop with his squad on the sidelines. He had them playing inspired ball and it sure looked like he and his D were having fun and interacting well.
What could be better?
It would appear that your loss is definitely Hamline's gain. I wish Todd nothing but the best.

That UMHB-Mississippi College game last week has to be the first time that a team has had FOUR TD runs of more than 80 yards in a game.  I don't know if the NCAA keeps such a record, but I can't believe that has ever happened before.

Besides you guys who really cares about Hamline football. Can you find 20 people at Hamline who actually have an interest.

I was always impressed by Todd Strop's intensity and his ability to motivate. Having said that, it is a fact that the situation at Stout was a mess and somebody had to take responsibility. Ultimately, it was Strop (and Terry). I certainly wish Todd the best of luck and I guarantee that he learned from the experience.

It does make me think twice now when I hear "Running With The Devils!"

Man that was insane rushing yards from both backs. Wondering if thier opponents were the cheerleaders  :D Refs and chain gang must have been exhausted. Gut check time for both WW lines. That's where it will be won or lost.
