He's easily impressed, I guess. :D

My first trip to Wisconsin was to Orfordville and Beloit for my brother's wedding.  He got married and the Open Bible church in Beloit on December 31st.  Keep in mind we are from Texas, so the best man didn't make it because his flight was delayed by snow. I had to go with my mom to the mall and find a suit so I could stand in.  It was nuts, but I did love the wintery beauty, especially the driving /spinning on the ice sheet/parking lot.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Coach Fred may not be the most glib guy around, but he has been successful as a coach. He was defensive coordinator at Baylor when Grant Teaff was at BU, during what has to be considered the Bear's glory years. While at BU Coach Fred produced some of the best defenses in the nation year in and year out. One of his players was a pretty good linebacker by the name of Mike Singletary.

Shaping up to be a good one in Wisconsin on Saturday. Here's the weather forecast: http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?

Right now the high is expected to be 52 degrees with a 30% chance of rain. Not too bad. I think the CRU will welcome the cooler temps.

You had to reach so far for that one, stealth, that you must have separated your shoulder.

After the SCSU, LAX and Osh games I think Wells played himself into a back up role. Guy is quick but to many dropped balls, doesn't finish his routes or help Jones out when he is out of the pocket. I posted this after those games. I thought Gifford was a little knicked up. We'll see this week. WW is going to need all of the offensive weapons it has to keep MHB offense on the side lines.

Any word on whether Gifford and Wells will be playing this week? I thought Wells might fill the role of Derek Stanley by being the guy that stretches the defense. It hasn't happened yet.

Aaron Rusch has certainly come on to be a nice addition to the receiver corps.  He and Jones seem to have clicked well the past couple weeks.

I want all the UWW posters to know I used a tremendous amount of creativity to come up with my screen name--the same one I use in real life!  See all you guys Saturday!  It should be both interesting and exciting--I am ready for Saturday to get here and certainly expect all the guys on both sides of the field are ready as well!

Control the game by Pounding the Rock and I believe the Warhawks will be #2 at the end of the night......Need Wells and Gifford to get back into uniform for this one......See you all at the Perk in my favorite parking lot.....

Agree Sakman, getting Gifford back especially is important.. I noticed the passing game was subpar against Oshkosh without him...

Will the winner of this game march off the field chanting, "We're number 2! We're number 2!"  I'd love to see that.

Not that it matters but so far only retagent and DuffMan have mentioned the lack of creativity in your screen names and neither is a UWW poster.   Pesonally I would be the last person to talk about it.  Being born and raised in Wisconsin and having a father who played baseball at the UW I've been a life long BADGER fan.  And I've been a WARHAWK guy for 40 years so I kind of doubt my sign on name would win many awards for creativity.

Also if you look closely at my image you'll notice the word DODGERS across Bucky's chest.   Nothing creative there either.

Surprisingly the idea of making it creative wasn't as meaningfull to me as making it clear where I stand.

Sakman, you don't find our beating on the Weak Sisters of the MIAC exciting?  You shouldn't be too excited about the UWW game this weekend.  UWW can beat anyone...except MUC  :o.  And I've already predicted what will happen.  Sit back, sip on a cocktail, and enjoy the Beaver show.
