Well, Just Bill, was I the only one to get an old program? Did they somehow happen top know I'm a Johnnie fan and pick it out just for me? Maybe they should toss the programs after that particular game. You can believe that I'll pay attention, before I pay my hard earned $3.00 again. Sheesh!!

Bo Bo - He's too purty to complain to.

Any reasonable person would have simply walked back to the gate, pointed out the mistake and exchanged it for the right one, rather then bellyache on the internet over a lost three bucks and a perceived injustice.

Maybe we can all chip in to start a fund to replace your lost money and your spent tears.

Great game at the Perk!!  Both teams seemed to be pretty evenly matched up except for the QB positon.  2 INT returns for TD always helps!!  WAY TO GO HAWKS, keep on rolling..  Lets not over look a scrappy UW-Stout bunch..  And on that crappy surface anything can happen..

In addition to 17 catches by Mike Zweifel being a Falcon record, it ties a WIAC record.

Also, Nathan Tenut's block of a P. f.g. attempt gives him two this season; both were instrumental in Falcons' only conference wins.

I'm over it guys.

I do have a question though, and I'm surprised it hasn't come up already. On the initial kickoff, the two UMHB Kick returners watched the ball bounce into the end zone and were walking away from it. It did eventually dribble out the back of the end zone, but isn't that a live ball that could have been recovered for a TD had a UWW player got it before it went out the back.

Also, quite a bit is being made of the statistical battle in the discussion on the d3 front page question. I really don't make too much of that. Granted, the UMHB defense pretty much shut down the run game of UWW, but Jones was effective passing when he needed to be. If UWW had not had the big lead early, the UWW offense may have opened up a bit more, sprinkled in more passes, opening up the running game a little more. They seemed to play conservatively, letting the defense shut down the UMHB offense, which we have to remember, got their two TD's only because of mistakes (personal foul penalties, muffed snap on the punt) by UWW. Different circumstances may have led to a completely different approach by UWW. The coaches called a masterful game considering what was in front of them.

Can anyone explain to me why MHB didn't come out for the national anthem?

First......Way to go Warhawks!!!

Second..........All of the fans sitting near us were shocked that UMHB players didn't come out of the locker room for the National Anthem.  I have never seen that happen before.

They didn't come out until just before the kickoff in the second half either....WW was on the field waiting for them...Leipold was talking to the ref and pointing at his watch (looking for a delay of game penalty?)

I didn't realize UWW fans were concerned with details like these...   :o

The Badgers are never on the field for the anthem.  I think it's a pretty common practice in college football.

As far as being on the field is concerned....

UMHB was asssigned to come out of the locker room and onto the field at 12:57.
UWW was scheduled to enter the field at 12:58.  The lack of UMHB to come out as scheduled is quite curious.  All I know is that UMHB was a very courteous team and coaching staff. A UWW official told me last night that most teams leave the visitors locker room quite messy but that UMHB left their locker room as clean as he has seen from any WIAC opponent and he thanked Coach Fredenburg before the team departed for the airport.

Mr. Downtown

It was a good day at Oshkosh yesterday

The Titans gave Mo the ball 50 times for 288 yards and 2TD's (POW??) The Pointers without Mike Ferron look flat on offense.

In the end...

I won! (Look below)

Mr. Downtown, maybe they had difficulty re-inflating following their loss to Whitewater.  ;)

New top 25 is out.  Moving to Number 2 - your Whitewater Warhawks.

MHB is at #6.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!
