Wally, I have to agree with you.....that is why I think it is more fun this year playing Capital, North Central, and Wabash than the same old teams for a third time.....

Goo 62

Bayernfan  you are a waste of time.  Keep living in your fantasy land and dreaming your dreams.  Maybe if your team uses all that left over testosterone from being an all boys school you could keep it respectable but as for a win HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA is all I can say.  You will see Saturday that Wabash is not in our league.  Actually they would probably finish 3rd in the WIAC.

See you at the perk.  LOVE YOU EUGENE

BayernFan

We'll be living a dream, Goo.  You'll be living a nightmare Saturday.   ;) The only boys on the field will be your Warhawks, as all the testosterone will be in Scarlet.  I don't think the 'Bash will have to use it all (lol) so we'll be able to save some for the semis.

Good luck with Eugene.  :-*

No doubt, Sakman.  I think everybody was pretty excited about the different look to the tournament bracket this year.  Well, everybody except the East region teams.   :)

Is Goo representative of the class we should be prepared to experience on Saturday?  There is a poster on the NCAC board named Scotty..I think you two would be best pals.  Predictions are predictions and class is still class.

I am glad I could get the board going by Thursday afternoon.  I have to agree with Wally on the fact that it could go either way huge win by UWW or a last second win by UWW especially in the poor weather conditions.  I am glad to see new teams to at least compare ourselves (WIAC) to.

The condition of the feild will be the biggest factor in the game either way.  It's covered now but if the feild gets sloppy it could be a long day for the DB's (easier to be a receiver than a defender) If it's just rock hard frozen then it's advantage off tackle running game. Biggest question is who can handle it. No matter what it ain't gonna be easy.
Weather report:
Chance of snow in the morning...then widespread snow...sleet and chance of freezing rain in the afternoon. Snow and sleet accumulation around 5 inches. Highs in the lower 30s. Southeast winds 5 to 15 mph increasing to east 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.

What a boring week in the chat room.  It was nice to take time and read what the Wabah fans were saying though.
I guess it is time for some predictions as I think that may get some people "excited".  I am thinking snow will only make things worse on the lil ones.  Wabash gets two big pass plays to keep them "close", but Beaver may get 250-300 this weekend.  I do not see him have anything less than 3-4 runs of 30+ yards.  He will prove why he is the best running back in Division 3 this year besides for Moriarity ;), jk.  Unfortuantely for the Little Giants, the O-Line for UWW wins the game 41-17ish.

I am pulling for bad weather. The worse it gets the better it will be for Whitewater. Since Wabash is predominately a passing team, a messy cold afternoon cold pose a lot problems for Wabash's speedy WRs and accurate QB. Based on their stats, their RB isn't much of a threat.

It might be tough for Beaver to get 250-300 yards with their all american LB running loose, but we'll see.

I say UWW by 14, especailly if the weather gets ugly.

Bad weather doesnt always mean a passing team will struggle,  WW gets after the QB so well they are volunarable to the screen and if the weather is bad I wouldnt be surprised to see alot of WR screens and short timing routes that wont be bothered by the weather..  I remeber playing Pville on a cold rainy day in WW and they beat us with screens and timing routes.. Hard for corners to break if the footing is bad..

I still think the Hawks will get the win, WW 35-14..  Beaver will have 150-200 with 2 tds

Bash,

[not trying to offend all former offensive linemen]I find it that some former offensive linemen, like Goo, still carry much of their fat angst around even when they are done playing.    I don't blame Goo for having little outlets to unleash his pent-up anger....I blame the system. When did the message board allow all these women to come on here and talk about class.  Quit crying about someone making fun of your team, it's all for fun and it's something to get you going instead of the boring days of work.

WW-35  Little Giants-14.  Darn now I'm classless, so I guess i'll go sit in the corner for a 20 minute timeout.

I agree with this.

I'd have to disagree about the fat thing.  I remember clear as day winning a basketball Intramural  championship with big Goo.  Not many oline are good enough to play O-line and average 15 as a 3 guard.  Smell.

Plus living across the street from Rosa's for two years really makes the workout thing a drag.
