Is Goo representative of the class we should be prepared to experience on Saturday?  There is a poster on the NCAC board named Scotty..I think you two would be best pals.  Predictions are predictions and class is still class.

bashbrother - the fans at Whitewater are very cordial and good hosts. The Perk is a great venue to take in a football game. It's a great atmosphere. Hint - don't go with the class thing.  Some will mis-interpret what you post and start slammin' you for knocking trash talking on the field (which you never did) and take away your karma.

Well, Goo was saying the same kind of things last week, and some shushed him and some made diplomatic / deflecting-type remarks, etc.

Well, he was right.  NCC played hard and well, but in second half it turned into the rout he predicted.

Is he right again?  I dunno, but we'll find out ...

Pynenberg is as good a linebacker as I have seen in D3. Raebel is also excellent but they have very different styles.  I would be very surprised if Pynenberg doesn't make a pretty big impact on saturday. Raebel is an excellent pass defender and very athletic for his size. He has a great nose for the ball from what I saw. AP is really tough to block because he reacts so quickly. Most linemen have a really hard time blocking him in space. he can backdoor a play as quickly as anyone and he brings a tremendous amount of leverage to the point of attack.  2 of the best LB's in the land in my view.

Hey Flash,  If you are going to the game have a few cold one's for me ( I know that will be tough for you).  I actually have a few co-workers here that played D3 in Upstate NY and Ohio.  Thye were shocked that there was a site for D3 football.   Wish I could be there again.  Hopefully next year they make the playoffs and I will have to make it a priority to get back.

Ya,  in hindsight, he maybe getting mixed messages but all I suggested last week was that he not kick the Johnnies when they are down for Beavers sake and I still stand by that.  Guess it was the name calling directed at them that made me protective.
