Seeing that I have been right on the money with all my predictions.  HERE WE GO.  Saturday depending on the weather, will be exactly like the first game maybe a little worse.  MHB will be freezing of course and will obviously not be able to pass due to there QB and there great run offense will be stopped in their tracks due to UWW great D.  As for offense Beaver will run where he wants and Danny Jones will lead them to victory after they stack the box to stop Beaver.  35-10 if the weather is decent but 49-14 if the weather is bad.

Can we get some love about the all region teams?

Goo, as bold as your picks have been so far, you have been right for the most part.... I'm hoping to get another result like you have predicted...

Goo-

I think you will see a different team on Saturday.  As long as MHB does not put themselves in a hole early, I think it will be a fight to the end.  Tough, hard fought  game for both teams, 27-24 CRU, and on to the Stagg is my pick.  UMHB holds Beavers to under 100 yds once again, and lock down UWW receivers better than last time.

I say weather doesn't play a factor in giving one team an advantage of the other in this contest.  Both are high caliber teams and will be ready to play.

YOU KNOW IT!!!!

That's exactly what several Wabash posters said and they couldn't have been more wrong if they had practiced.

Though it will be cold and could snow some, sleet and freezing rain aren't in the forecast at this point.   However I don't pay much attention to the weather forecast beyond 48 hours because the odds of it being correct aren't very good.

Even though it is a little early, Here is my prediction for Saturday's game.....also I would like to point out I had 42-7 last week and was scoffed at. It may not be the same blowout it was the first time but I can't see MHB scoring a lot because they are a one dimensional team. I watched their QB pass the last time and he threw floater after floater.....unless there was something wrong with his arm the result will be the same....interceptions.... when they are forced to throw again. I don't believe a team that can only run no matter how good they are can beat Whitewater. UWW can run but their QB is a very good passer;consequently, if MHB puts 8 or 9 in the box to stop Beaver then Danny Jones can beat them. 35-10 Warhawks.....Pound the Rock!!!!!.......

A one dimensional running team has little chance against the hawks, may work for a half or even 3 quarters but over the course of the game it is going to catch up to them.  UMHB is obviously a quality team but they definitely have one of the worst passing offensives I have ever seen, you aren't going to beat WW with sub par QB play and suspect WR's, which is why the hawks should cruise to a 4+ TD win.

Good call on the game last week. For this week............I'm gonna have to go with 49-10 UWW. They  can say all they want about how MHB plays in bad weather but I find it hard to believe that MHB has played on a surface you can barely stand on like UWW has the past couple years. That frozen tundra that appears usually at round 4 will be there. The chances of MHB winning with them being a running team (our strongpoint on defense), playing in arguably the toughest place to win in the country, and going against us on Willy's World of Ice, are kind of bleak..............unless they practice on a hockey rink. Look at Wesley in 05 (waaaaaaaah it was ours shoes *tear* *tear*).

I've got nothing against UMHB, and I know they are a fine team, but I hope Whitewater takes it to them this weekend, and I think you guys can. You have the horses to do it, and this is your year.

Watching the game instead of just listening to it is going to be awesome!

Two words:  THE STREAK

dallas

Someone on the Daily Dose said The Perk will be getting field turf during the off season.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?

BoBo

Say it ain't so dallas! I hope they remain with real, honest to goodness, grass.  With field turf, I would give MHB a fighting chance on Sat.; under the status quo, a big Warhawk victory.  It's a home field advantage, especially during the playoff run, that should remain forever, IMO.

It drives me crazy how torn up the field gets during this time of year, but it's hard for me to picture field turf in The Perk.  I especially think natual grass would be a hard thing to part with knowing how much that field always meant to Berez.  He's gone for a year and they're already ripping up his baby!

Someone out there in Warhawk land give us some insight to this subject.  Anyone.  Anyone.  Beuller.  Anyone.

Can someone guide me on how to view this weeks WW/MHB game. I am as confused as a newborn in a topless bar  ;D
There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

Toby Taff

Newborn in a topless bar?  That's not a look of confusion, that's a look of euphoria.
My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Lesson #1 - start by making sure your computer electrical plugs look something like this:

sorry couldn't resist the set-up

Actually, here in Korea, a newborn wouldn't be that confused...if the baby's anything like mine was/is, the little one would just look around and think "look at all that chi-chi!!"

stealth, I think PC will have a link on front page later in the week to help you out or at least get you headed in the right direction.
