There are alot of things that make up a great football player and speed is one of them.  I rank things like this:

1) Athleticism
2) Speed
3) A Brain
4) Determination

World class sprinters don't play football except for a small few that felt like making a couple Million to do returns.  Speed isn't everything but it's extremely important.  I felt I was either 2 tenths of a second to slow or 3" to short to get my look and that is the difference from college to the pros plain and simple.

It'll be around 18 degrees at kickoff, with a windchill of 10 degrees. There will be 7 mph wind of blowing NNE. Partly cloudy, snow should be out of the forecast until well after the game.

Congrats to Wendell Eskridge as being anounced a starter for the Aztec Bowl.

Tony Beckham was described as being fast enough to be able to cover a man after falling down.  That is just speed.

Suffering through another early December loss in Whitewater is best left to a team other than St. John's... that honor this year goes to a team from Texas.

I thought was a really long shot that they would play Oliver on a field with dubious footing, unless he was full go (which has sounded doubtful).

If MHB is sandbagging us, though - they seem to be doing a good job of it.

I've never posted over here. First off I just want to say that I have the most respect for UWW's football and program. I came to the game in October and was really impressed by everything I saw. Field was awesome, crowd was diehard, and the people were very nice. With that being said....

Have any of yall thought of what's going to happen if yall lose?

I hope UMHB wins, but if they lose, they will lose to a great team and will have nothing to hang their head about.

That's a big "If." If you guys manage to pull this off I will give credit where it's due. I honestly don't believe it will happen though so it's kind of a moot point. You can bring the forks though, we'll use them during our team meal on the plane to Virginia

#1 thing is definitely atleticism.  But on to a new topic.  A new poster talking trash clever comment with the forks.  I know your from Texas but do you have to type yall.  As for the upset and trash talking.  I only speak the truth and UWW pretty much a guarantee.  They are so hot right now, they will melt the snow.  Which still wouldnt give MHB a chance.  Just like the first time

to MHB fans:

do you guys plan on bringing a big crowd up to Whitewater tomorrow?? I wasn't there when we first met earlier in the season, so i'm not sure if MHB fans travel well.

that's all Wabash talked about last week, was how well their fans travel and how well they fill the visiting team's stands.

(I would of asked this on their own site, but no one is talking over there)
