My wife and I are Alumni of both UMHB and HSU.  You think you are confused, my kids don't know which Purple and Gold team to pull for.

Wondered if you were going to show up over here some time this week, Yessir.  You also had some words to eat regarding your postings on the ASC board before the Oct. meeting and I don't recall you picking up the fork afterwards.    You and I  had some lengthy conversations after the game.  If I remember right, you were the poster that was making the arguement that the turnovers had much more to do with the Cru and Welch just having a bad day and not giving the Hawks D much credit. You know, that kind of talk can work against your team this weekend, don't ya?   ;)

Yeah it took a little while for me to eat my words in October, but I guess that's how it goes when you spend the time and money to watch your team play and they have a bad day. Which leads everyone to believe that they are "Overated" and yada yada yada.

I hope they have a much better game tomorrow.  As far as UW-W not believeing that UMHB is capable of winning tomorrow. Other teams in the past have felt that way and ended up being on the lossing end. You should always think about the possibilities........

Then IF UMHB wins tomorrow, I expect you will extend the same courtesy.  You were the one who came on here and mentioned forks.  Just pointing out a little hypocrisy on your part, IMHO.   As far as UWW not believing that UMHB is capable of winning tomorrow.......... maybe a few posters but I guarantee the Hawks and their coaching staff don't buy it.   The seniors make up 17 out of the 22 starters on this team.  They are the winningest class in UWW history and they didn't get that way underestimating their opponents or being susceptible to a trap game.  This is a class that hasn't  lost a home game since 2004 nor a home play-off game in the last 3 seasons.  They will take the field at Perkins Stadium tomorrow for the final time and play with all the emotion that that will bring.  I expect a battle but not one that this team will lose.

Will UWW have that tent where they serve Chili, hot dogs and beer for tomorrow's game?

Turnover numbers are not the result of blind luck..."That doesn't happen by accident," University of Wisconsin-Whitewater coach Lance Leipold said.

Not to be a pain or anything but last I checked, the stagg bowl was a playoff game.

According to warhawkfootball.com, "Come early and join the fun and excitement! The Coulthart Family Pavilion will once again be open for Warhawk fans. Free food and beverages (hot and cold) will be available on a first come, first served basis."

My bad,  should have said HOME play-off games.

I mean did anyone expect Pitt to beat West Virginia, NO. Anything can happen whenever the game is played out on the field.

West Virginia lost because of those hideous yellow uniforms they were wearing.

I shall return the same courtesy shall UMHB wins. If UW-W loses they will have nothing to hang their head about. They would have been beaten by a great opponent. If UMHB loses, they too have nothing to hang their head about. I have alot of respect for Programs like MUC, UWW, and UMHB. My rant in October was due to sheer frustration of the game that just took place. I apologize if I was out of hand and made UW-W fans feel like I don't respect the Warhawks. They are a great opponent and a first class program.

We just got to our Hotel in Deerfield, IL about 45 minutes from Midway Airport. Weather a chilly 29 degrees with snow everywhere. Our plane was supposed to leave at 5:40 but was delayed until 7:15. The current temperature is good football weather to me. I'm sure it will be colder in Wisconsin, but if the suns out tomorrow I don't think it will be to bad. I guess we'll see. GO CRUSADERS!!
Walking on thin ice cuz someone lost......again.

I'd plus Karma you 413 but I can't stay up long enough tonight to get past the 24 hr limit.  But time for my weekly cheer as well!!  I want to see a really good game from the warmth of my desk as I grade exams in front of my computer!!

GO WARHAWKS!  POUND THE ROCK AT THE PERK!!
Brownies for Film Day--Now there's a Slogan I can live with!!!:)  Go EAGLES!

If UW-W loses they will have nothing to hang their head about. They would have been beaten by a great opponent.
Except that they lost the chance to have an opportunity to win a national title, and make anyone and everyone who has ever been part of the UW-Whitewater Warhawk football program, extremely proud of their alma mater.
I do not believe in any sort of moral victory or second place is cool stuff. Yes both teams have had great seasons, but I am sure the teams will be disappointed as they did not succeed in fulfilling their goal of getting to the Stagg bowl, and yes I know they made the final four but to me that just happy horse crap.
With that said this UWW football team has overcome a lot since last year the"right-man" not getting the job having to adjust to a new coach, and everything else well. In the end I truly believe that they are going to win tomorrow and when they do they will take it from there as the third time to Salem is the CHARM. Know if we can only some how get Bethel to win, which might make that game a lil easier. However we start worrying about that after tomorrow Victory
POUND THE ROCK, GO WARHAWKS
