The AFCA sucks for the simple fact that they dont pick the right players. Who are the bone heads on that committee.  They have probably never seen a game. I dont care about the amount of teams if they pick the right players.  AFCA used to be the best from what older players used to tell me but D3 football.com surpassed it and so did Don Hansen.

Cant wait to watch the game.
My prediction UWW 20 MUC 17.  Lots of running and special teams in this one due to the bad weather.  After UWW wins, join me in running around the street naked banging some pots and pans til the cows come home.

Any discussion about who the weather favors and why?  I'd say WW.

Agreed Virginia treats everyone nice. One would have to agree they started that process at a starting point. Why couldn't someplace else start as well?

California is a long way away from Alliance, Ohio.

Wouldn't it make sense to keep the Stagg within driving distance of the vast majority of D3 schools?  And since the majority of D3 is located in the Great Lakes and Eastern US regions, wouldn't it make sense to keep the title game there?

As a MUC fan, I would love to see the Stagg played in perfect conditions because adverse weather has been a factor in numerous of their Stagg games, but there's no way the fan attendance from Alliance would be the same if the game was in CA or FLA.

If you want to talk about a better location than Salem VA, how about the perfect stadium that sits right next to the Pro Football Hall of Fame?

Yes it does make sense. Will it make sense when the brick and mortar is still with an Alliance circumference and the majority of the population is not? In say, 40 years?

Possibly, but the Florida-California high school game draws paying customers who have no connection to either program but know a good game when they read about it. Championship games always pique interest.

Filling Fawcett Stadium would be a bigger challenge since it is a 20,000 seater compared to MUC s 6,000 seats. But oh what a glorious thing it would be to see D3 fans filling it up on ESPN. The Stagg Bowl wouldnt suffer any in my opinion. Still, those Virginians ARE great hosts!

Well, it's hard for me to say considering the fun we have had in Virginia the last two years but due to a death in our family we won't be at the Stagg Bowl this year. Just cancelled our room at the Holiday Inn so jump on it if you are looking for a room. Won't be there to see when the Marriott runs out of Miller Lite. My prediction is that this year is the big upset     UWW-45   Mount Union-42. We will be watching Saturday and wish we could be in the parking lot blowing the game horn with Tim.....Go Warhawks....Pound the Rock....
