K-Mack,
When Whitewater wins this Saturday are you going to change your message at the bottom of your posts to "K-Mack: The UW-Whitewater of the message boards"??  ;D

Well?
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Congrats to the WarHawks on a great game and winning the national championship! Perfect week with Beaver winning the Gagliardi Trophy and Whitewater bringing home the D3 title. Enjoy the holidays.

Congratulations to the Warhawks on the Championship. Great way for the Gagliardi Trophy winner to close out his college career.

Another congrats to UWW for a great win over Mount as well as a great year. The Warhawks beat MUC the same way they took out UMHB (twice): with an opportunistic defense that not only forced turnovers but made big plays when it counted (the goal line stand against Mount brought back bad memories of the stand against the CRU in the semis), Danny Jones making good decisions, passing efficiently and making plays with his feet. Make no mistake, this win was no fluke. UMHB experienced the same thing twice this year. The only difference between the Warhawks game with MUC and the games with UMHB is that Beaver shredded the Mount D and the CRU was able to hold him in check.

A standing ovation from this UMHB fan to UWW... you have earned the right to be called the champions of DIII!

Congratulations the the UWW Warhawks coaches, players and fans on the 2007 Stagg Bowl Championship!  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Great Game for UWWW.  As a Linfield Fan I've been pulling for you guys in the Stagg Bowl the last 3 years.  Great to see you get one on your 3rd try! :)  Well played game on both sides of the field.  Beaver ran hard but in my opinion you have to give most of the credit to that offensive line.  They really pushed off the ball on the runs and gave Danny Jones time to throw (most of the time).  On, D---well shutting down (and shutting up) Garcon was huge and so was the D-lines' ability to hold on several 4th and short (including the big goal line stand).  Great game!  Enjoy it till next year and best of luck then :)

Watching my DVR replay of the game, I had to chuckle when Pam Ward mentioned that scouts were at the game to watch Garcon.  The guy has some amazing tools, and could still hear his name called on draft day.

But not based on yesterday.  Nope.  No way.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

I wouldn't draft the kid based on his attitude. I was only 2 rows up from him after the game. I kept yelling, "Hey #1!! Go shake hands with the winners!!"

But then again, NFL coaches put up with a lot worse.

KitchenSink

That's a big part of my comment.  If a team might want their backups to go and cover punts or kickoffs, that's an attitude thing, a "team, not me" thing.  So that has to be on thier checklist as they evaluate guys.

I think it helped Stanley a small fraction.  Good luck today, Derek.  Well, not too good, though.   :)

That was an absolute awesome win for Whitewater.  Please allow us other WIAC fans share in it a little.
I may not have much to say, but I'll say it anyway.

Congrats to UW Whitewater.
Defense and DL did an incredible job all day long. They did a great job of containing the QB and blanketing the receivers especially in the weather condtions.
OL - were outstanding at opening up some major holes and providing pass protection.
Most of all,  the coaches came up with a game plan that was well executed.

Brian Carroll

Sincere congratulations to all WW players, coaches and fans on the D3 title.

prime, come on board for a while.

I think the fact that the WIAC was stronger this year (I think clearly stronger than last year, up and down the conference) made a big difference for UWW in both the MHB and MUC games.  So, I give some credit to Plat, Osh, Point, RF, EC, Stout and LC for yesterday.

You can't pussyfoot through the WIAC.  Not on any Saturdays.
