CONGRATULATIONS WARHAWK FANS, COACHES, AND PLAYERS

Your coaching staff had an excellent game plan. The execution was outstanding. You forced MUC to make both physical and mental errors. You were relentless in the pursuit of your goal. You earned the right to be called the "2007 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS".

Yes they won !!!! Yes they are happy as are all of the Warhawk nation !!!! Now go away drive by.

Funny thing about perception is that it allows to you to color what you see with your beliefs. Sorry, but I saw what Sidekick and most everybody else in that stadium saw. Mount came out, fired up as you'd expect and went to their bench, or at least their side of the field. WW came out to mid field in a planned celebration and started the jawing and finger pointing. Check the tape.

geez, talk about your poor winners.

You won, celebrate, be happy, get a life

What tape ? The CIA destroyed it.  I did hear one Raider fan say that we looked better in all black than you did in all white. Is that the color thing you are talking about.  ??? I met sidekick and his guide dog. Nice folks. Now you to go away.

Always believe everything you read on Post Patterns, because all of it is 100% true.   ;)

Man, This thread is really starting to head  in a bad direction.  I have to wholeheartedly agree that the Warhawk nation needs to celebrate their well deserved victory and leave all that other crap alone.   Empty accusations and finger pointing will only serve to diminish what the Hawks accomplished.  As there are gracious losers, there are also gracious winners.  Up to this point, I've seen plenty of both.  Let's keep it real guys.
You can't have everything.....Where would you put it?

I don't give a rat's ass who is named All American.

I shrug my shoulders at Kehres Junior and Garcon.  Trash talking?  Intimidation?  Feh.  Mount's still a fine program, but this year they're NOT the champ.

All that matters was in the final game, it was 31 points for the school I graduated from way back when, versus 21 for the team that held them off the last 2 years.  It was very satisfying, and I'm going to savor it for as long as I can.  I'll buy some championship apparel, and probably a picture, so I can savor it early and often in the future.

The other stuff?  Doesn't mean a lick to me.  I'm just fine applauding the Warhawks TEAM.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

KitchenSink

The Warhawks get a mention on www.uniwatchblog.com - apparently Justin Beaver's jersey was missing the little "Warhawks" name plate just below the V-neck on Saturday (and before?).

Two pictures are linked in the Daily Ticker for Dec 17.

Pat, maybe you could make your selections ala the MIAC and allow half the position players in the country to become All-Americans?
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Kilted Rat

I'd rather have the Bronze and Walnut in my trophy case and no All-Americans than 25 All- Americans and no trophy!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Link to Janesville Gazette article. Some nice shots of the champs rolling into town on the fire engines and one real special one of Coach Perkins. Enjoy.

All of this says one thing.  That you have won the battle but have not won the war.  Every d3 team has a long way to go in order to accomplish all the MUC has.  All of this trash talking just shows me how much you are jealous of MUC even with a national title ring on your finger.

Thanks for the link. Here is the direct link to the picture. http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/photographer/15/15340_large.jpg
The NCAA should start a full scale investigation.  :o
What I like most about this photo is that it was when Justin lowered his shoulder and made #6 look like a tacking dummy in spring practice. If you watch later in the game when Justin broke off the other big run in the 4th #6 didn't want anything to do with getting in front of him.

I left this board for a couple days and all I find is ww posters complaining about respect, lack of all-americans, etc etc.  It all sounds pathetic and I have to agree with many MU posters. Also, I'm pretty sure a dozen or so MU fans complemented UWW on the victory...However, I'm sure that the players who actually won the championship are a bit more humble and appreciative than those on these boards. Anyways...

Congrats again on the national championship.

You guys are joking about the "lack of respect" crap right?  You CANNOT be serious!

Do you know WHY the Mount players were walking on to the field when the WW team took the field????  Come on WW fans......stop the insanity.  Enjoy your teams moment in the D-III sun, but quit your myopic "fan-vision" and get over yourself.

The Mount team came on to the field and headed straight to their sideline.  The WW team came on to the field, ran straight to the logo in the center of the field, and started jumping up and down, getting fired up, and pointing at the Mount team.  YAH...the Mount kids are going to just stand there.  Give me a frickin' BREAK.  It's just like you guys harping about trash talking, etc.....  It was going both ways.

Don't make this into something it wasn't.  You won the game.  Be happy.

Well...finally done!! And what a feeling it is to take your pads off for the last time as a National Champ!! I would like to say congrats to every player who ever put on a Warhawk Jersey, this win was for the whole family!!  As far as awards go...did we get screwed...yeah but not one person who did cares, and that is what set this team apart from many in the past all over the country.  We played as a team and won as a team!! Congrats to all 23 Seniors and the Warhawk Family!! Goo and Sakman its good to be aboaard!!

True about other D3 programs but not every one  ;D Your analogy is like saying that MUC has along way to go to accomplish all that the Patriots have. It's stupid. Are some teams jealous maybe, envious sure, long way to go, yeah but for most of the young men who play D3 they know that will never happen they play for the love of the game. Now you go away to.
