Why doesn't it surprise me that Goo can't seem to find the words to express himself.

Also, I noticed that there were 4 MIAC teams getting votes in the final d3football.com poll, as opposed to 3 WIAC teams. Who has the better conference, top to bottom now? I've seen posters here say that the conference was tougher this year than in other years. I, on the other hand, thought the WIAC had an off year, as a whole. I know, Iknow. UWW won it all, but that doesn't negate my observation.

Hey Voice.....I was just looking at the Warhawkfootball.com website and I think you mistakenly put down Griz as receiving the D3 Defensive Player of the Year.....didn't Jerrell Freeman from UMHB get that award as it says on the D3 football.com website.....what's the deal?
Contrary to popular belief, Justin Beaver was found to actually have a large "S" on his chest and he actually is INVINCIBLE.

Last time I checked, pre-season was BEFORE you play any games.  Let's just not even play the season to see who becomes the best players at their position.

How could they not think Raebel was better than other LB's?  No offense to him, but maybe their were three other players in the nation out of about 600 that were better than him.

I think being #4-6 in the country still puts him in pretty good company.
YOU KNOW IT!!!!

Goo-

this all american stuff is givin me a headache
If you wanna be good practice till you get it right, if you wanna be great practice till you cant get it wrong..

CruAlum39,  I don't actually care but Pyrenberg is not a better LB than AJ Raebel.  No way, no how, not even in your dreams.   And I don't mean to take anything away from Pyrenberg.  He's a good player.  He played hard in Perkins Stadium.  He's just not as good a LB as AJ Raebel that's all.

But I'm perfectly satisfied with things the way they stand.  I watched the game live,  I've watched the replay three times and so far we're 4-0.  :D

So congrats to all of those (even Pyrenberg ;) ), from all schools, who were All-Americans and to those WARHAWKS who didn't and felt slighted don't worry.  You're the greatest team in the history of the program.  You've made everyone even remotely connected to UW-W incredibly proud.  You'll never be forgotten as long as there are people who talk about UW-W WARHAWK football and that will be long after we're done talking about All Americans.  Take solace in that and as a fan I'm deeply gratefull for the pleasure you've brought me these past seasons.

I hope you are all successfull in whatever direction your lives take you.

The thing about the all American teams is stupid because anyone who has played for one of the very few good teams (WW,MU, & UMHB this year) in the nation know a lot of the guys on the list really aren't that good and wouldn't play at any of the tops schools.  It's easier to make the team when your the only player on your team up for the award (and you play crappy competition), apposed to ww who had several.  Perfect example is the guy from Wabash, pretty obvious he wasn't even one of the top 3 backers to take the field when he played ww.

Goo 62

Im done with the all american stuff.  As for the show down express28 watch out the JV squad is hot right now coming off a big win at argyle.  Just do me a favor and call off the dogs early for me.

Once again, the UWW fans and players have been dissed.  The MUC players taunted you, the announcers were biased, you didn't get enough all-americans.
It just goes on and on.

Glad to hear that Goo is not a "Road scholar."  Is a "Road scholar" someone who studies paving and determines whether asphalt is preferable to concrete?  Am I violating the "Statue (sic) of Limitations" by commenting on this?

See you all on the Steamwheeler message board.

Oh give me a break.  Yeah, they were so biased they spent half of their time calling MUC "Mountain Union" and the "Red" Raiders.  So biased that Ray Bently spent most of the night taking digs at Garcon.

Business travel has kept me off the boards for a couple of days, so here is a belated Congratulations to the Warhawks! Your team played a great game and took  back the "mo" every time it looked like Mount might be coming back.

Enjoy the well earned Championship!!  Maybe we can do it all again next year.

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

Yesterday I read an interview with the Ram head coach, Scott Linehan, and got the impression that they plan on leaving Derek Stanley on the active roster for the remainder of the season.  He even mentioned the possibility of using him as a wide receiver during the games.

Hope that's the case and wish Derek the best luck in taking advantage of this opportunity if it comes his way.  I don't really care one way or another about the Ram but  I am behind Derek all the way.

D3Banner;

Could someone explain to me what the photo on the far right of the homepage banner is?  Was Ryan Coleman trying to be creative peering through the yard marker while capturing some kind of apparition that was appearing before him?

Hit refresh, that's gone.

Ryan posted a new banner without getting it signed off by the publisher.
