Derek Stanley returned 7 kick offs last night for 203 yards (29 yd ave.).  He had two over 40 yards and none less than 21 yards.   On one 24 yard return he came very close to breaking it only to have a Steeler trip him up from behind.

Given the opportunity he seems to be showing that he is an NFL level kick returner.   I wish they give him some time as a wide out but with two receivers like Holt and Bruce ahead of he may not get a chance.

Good luck and keep it up, Derek.  We were all rooting for you last night at Saxes.

Hey guys, just wondering if UWW had any D3football.com All-Americans this year?  :D

Yes, we did Duff, three times as many as SJU.  :D ;)

kubiack, methinks it was duffmans attempt to stir up the board a little as it had gone dormant after the last round of whining about the lack of AA's.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Kubiak78,

You staying safe over there?  Is it cold there now?

I too was impressed with Stanley's work last night. If it were only two receivers that he was behind, he might get some time at WR. Wassamatta warhawk, you forget about Bennett and Looker?

The bookstore at U-Dub-Dub apparently ripped through the first batch of championship apparel they had.  They expect to get more in a week or two.

Is there anywhere else that currently has any stuff?  Anybody know?
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

As safe as possible.
Yeah, it starting to get cold and we got snow the other day.

By your gear directly from the athletic department. More of the proceeds go directly back to them than if you go through the bookstore.

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

stealth - is there a website?  A phone number?

I don't see anything on uwwsports.com.  Would have liked to get a stack of stuff to put under the Christmas tree.

Thanks.

Unfortunately I do not believe that the Athletic department sells any clothing. Even the stuff that is sold at the regular season football games is from the bookstore that just started in 2006. Where before that Brez would have all sorts of stuff sold in there, and the football office secretary would sell it all.
The only place I know you can get stuff is from the bookstore, and it's not even the same stuff that the team got. So that sort of SUCKS as well. Put my order in last week Thursday, and will hopefully be getting it by the end of the week.

Actually, you are incorrect, dawarhawksrock.  After the National Championship the last two years, the football program has worked out a deal with Impact Sports of Wisconsin and taken orders for Championship apparel and they will be doing it again this year.  It has mostly involved players and their families but I would think that anyone can put in an order.    It is different than what is sold in the bookstore and the proceeds benefit the football program directly.  I suggest that anyone interested should try and contact the football office to request a flyer or contact Impact Sports directly.  These are pre-paid special orders, however, and no one will be getting the clothes for awhile.
