Did anybody get the DVD of the Stagg Bowl yet from the NCAA online store ? I ordered as soon as you could but nothing in the mail box as of today  >:(
Also does anybody know if we can get the Warhawk radio broadcast of the game ?  I'll listen to it or Keith and Pat call it while watching versus the ESPN audio talking heads feed which was horrible.

Damn. They can't even figure out how to send a DVD out that is pre paid so is it any wonder that they can't figure out how do get a playoff system in place. I need my "purple haze" and artic weather. Plan on putting it on the plasma screen and stand in my walk in freezer for old times sake. Frickin miss you guys and gals.  ::)

National scandel brewing. NCAA rips off the Warhawks fans as revenge for the beat down of their beloved Purple Raiders and to fend off the bookies looking for the vig.  ;D Maybe they can recover tonight with LSU -4. But I'm going with OSU. The underdogs seem to have a place in history this year right. (Warhawks +18, yeah right) I spat on the +18 by the end of the first quarter.  +K to me from me.

This article says it all about the college football bowl system and the money it generates.  If I can read and understand what it says, it appears that one of the largest road blocks in the playoffs system for D1 is television rights and the exclusivity of negotiation.

Love to support the underdogs but found myself rooting for LSU last night.  For some reason, the last few years, I have developed a dislike for Ohio teams.   :) ;) :D  Congrats to Trinity!

That Trinity play was just embarrassing for d3

fbf413,

Where did you go in the online store to order the stagg bowl videos?
YOU KNOW IT!!!!

CruAlum39

How is that embarassing???

It was a play that the Trinity team has worked on every Friday walkthrough for years.  They got a chance  to perform and executed it to perfection.  It was obvious that every player on the field for Trinity knew exactly what he was doing.  Someone always back, someone always across the field, etc...

If you ask me, it's just an example of really good coaching and player execution by Trinity, and not so by Millsaps, who had obviously not practiced any situation like that.

Just found this link on UWW's football page.  You can order a copy of the Championship Broadcast from the NCAA.

http://www.ncaaondemand.com/clips/306100640_xxx

Here is the link, 39.  You can order games from every year and any level, it appears.  Do a search at the top of the page.

I'm guessing he was referring to a total lack of effort by Millsaps...I agree it was one hell of a play but that Millsaps team looked horribly unathletic in the video. There were players walking around not even trying to make a tackle. Just my interpretation...However, I still believe it was worthy of the award as any lateral play lasting that long is quite impressive.
