Anybody get their DVD of the Stagg Bowl from the NCAA yet ? What the hell is going on there  ??? I know they can't figure out a way to make a true champ like D3 but man it's been close to a month. How hard could it be.  :o Insert disc, press record on one machine and play on another.
Maybe they are waiting for video of stoutguy climbing under a rock after starting all the crap about Coach L  ;D ;D

I sent them an email last week to see what excuses they had, and I received the following response:

"Your order was actually a pre-order for a current year event.  It takes 6-8 weeks after the completion of the event before the products are produced and available to ship.  Your order is on file and will be fulfilled as soon as the DVD becomes available, sometime in the next few weeks."

Ok, next question:  When will Impact Sports send out the Championship apparel?
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

MSU announced the four finalists for the head coaching job today.

I thought Hoffner did a pretty good job at EC.  They had some pretty decent teams during his tenure.

Another interesting name was Jim Williams who having worked at Nebraska-Omaha would obviously know Coach Liepold well.
I actually heard him speak at a Coaches Clinic last season, and he seemed to be pretty energetic.  I remember saying something to other guys around me that if he is this energetic at a clinic in the middle of winter, I can only imagine how he is during practice and games.

Since the Stagg Bowl DVD's are still being produced/shipped, probably to include an NCAA propaganda commercial, has anybody close to the scene heard about the progress being made toward the installation of a new playing surface in Perkins Stadium?  I believe in early Dec there was talk of ongoing fundraising for not only a field turf-type playing field for football, but also for the baseball stadium infield, as well.

Well I have watched my high def DVR recording a few times on my big screen HD TV...even see myself a couple of times in the crowd...alongside the guy from New Jersey who drove down to pull for the Warhawks and the drunken Bridgewater kid that hated Mount Union

Don't know for sure but it seemed to take some time after it was ordered the last few years if I am remembering right. Say the 4-6 week range?  At least, it should be faster than the NCAA.   ;D

If I understood correctly the funds are pretty much in place and the projects are scheduled as part of the second phase of the athletic fields upgrade which will begin when weather allows this spring.   It's a large project however and I don't know the specific schedule for completing the football field.

I'm sorry.  You'll have to be more specific.   ;)

He probably played for Bridgewater in 2003 when MTU dropped 66 on them in the playoffs.   ;D

Well, that's very reasonable of them.

WHITEWATER has nonconference games scheduled against St Xavier (home) and U. of Puget Sound (away) in 2008.  Two dates remain open and the search continues.

Did you mean one date remains open?
