No suprise there. Scouts and Coachs are getting around to looking at game films from some of the lower, but classier divisions, right about now. I'm sure that they started with the Stagg Bowl films and if you isolate on him all game you'll see why they are moving him up. That last youtube highlight clip posted here a couple of days ago may have helped to. Pray that he goes to a warm weather team ;D

Raebel moving up 13 places on the draft site from 61 to 48!   Red arrow indicates stock is rising.   :)

That upward-turned, red arrow is a positive sign...however, when looking at the total number of LB's drafted, using numbers from the last 3 drafts, he still has quite a mountain to climb.  34, 34, and 37 LB's have been drafted in 2007, 2006, and 2005, respectively.  Using numbers on nfldraftscout.com, the five year average for ILB's drafted is only 12 and they estimate, including FA's, only 35 will make it to NFL camps. So, that might illustrate the challenge he faces. But, I think stealth's comments make a lot of sense.  Hopefully, more scouts will get an opportunity to see some of his greatest hits, and start to take a closer look.

I know I've been away for a while, but is it just me, or have the guys at the head office changed the colors on this thing?  Very neutral-looking...I like it.

Not just you, BoBo, the shading is different but what you call nuetral, I would describe as pink.  The background of every other quote has a pinkish color now instead of blue.  Not that the Guru's care what I think but I am not as fond of this more feminine side of Post Patterns.   ;) :D ;D

footballfan413, either you or I have to check our monitor colors, because I see more of a beige or dirty yellow color - no pink on my screen.  The new color, whatever it is (I'll have to check with my colorist), seems to have a warm, more calming, relaxed effect on my brain than the old ice blue color.  No offense, but I like it even more now than I did a few minutes ago!

One thing to remember is that Raebel is listed on this site as an ILB while actually playing OLB for the last 4 years at Whitewater.  Don't know why except it may be strictly because of his size on paper.  But with his speed at that size, he could be looked at by a team as a very versatile LB with the ability to play either.  I had this discussion with a poster on the, "D-III players to pros,"  thread on the General Football link.  Odds of being drafted will never be with a DIII guy but it can still happen as Stanley and Allen proved.  According to a new article on www.warhawkfootball.com, Stanley was only ranked 64th before the draft last year.  Raebel probably won't get drafted but his rise on the site indicates that he is catching someones attention and it is just the beginning of this pre-draft season.  A lot can happen and there are several ways into the NFL besides thru the draft as Schmitt showed.

Really, I see it as very washed out with a pinkish cast to it.  The overall appearance is baby blue, white and light pink with kind of a nursery feel  to me.   LOL!  Guess the era of high def has made me more prone to brightness but I see what you are saying about..........the...........calming............affect.............ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz  ;D

The only thing I know for sure (maybe) is someone in the house is on a One Grand Rush at the moment.  If I stay with it long enough, I may have the honor of being your navigator as you pull ever closer to that magic milestone, ff413!!

I hope you can do better than that for the 4 digit post.
I'd like to stick around, however, I have to be moseying on out of here...getting past my bedtime over here in Korea.  +k to you, in advance, footballfan413, for #1000.

edit:  crap, I'll have to get you tomorrow, it seems 24 hours isn't up from the last time I +k'ed you!!

Thanks, BoBo, and sleep tight.  +karma to you as well.  You mean I have to come up with something epic for my 1000 post?  Crap, that is too much pressure!
