FYI, Coach Zebrowski is officially one of two finalists for the Wabash opening.

The story from Wabash's local newspaper.  The other finalist is the HC at Coe College; both of them Mount Union grads.  Could this be the reason Zebrowski withdrew (as has been reported on the WIAC page) from the St. Thomas opening?  :-\

If the old boy from Lindfield found a hard time finding work than Danny Jones better start thinking AF2 or a semi pro team near a large city.

Sink - Good posts (for a WIAC guy)

I wouldn't be so quick to denegrate the St Thomas job. Although everyone knows we Johnnies hate the Tommies, I'm forced to speak some truth. St Thomas is a fine school situated in a fine metropolitan area. They have plenty of money to spread around. It has been in the past a decent football school, and because of it's drawing power, has the ability to again rise to prominance with the right coach/recruiter. If someone is capable of doing that, he would probably be looked at favorably to move up to a more prestigeous post. How can you stay in Whitewater once you've seen the bright lights of Minneapolis/St Paul?

A fellow Achiever by chance? If so, And a good day to you, sir.

I also recall UST journeying to UWW in a playoff game about 15 years ago and putting a beat down on the Warhawks

Umm... I played in that game and I don't think that UST winning 24-23 is considered a beat down

FYI it was 17 years ago.

Now the actual reason comes out that Z#2 removed his name from the finalists for the St.Thomas job as Badgerwarhawk suggested earlier..... not because he thought he might not get the job with the Tommies but because he wanted the job with Wabash more. Good luck to him he did in a fine job with the Warhawks this year in a tough position after Z#1 left.......I should know I was one of his biggest detractors.....

Excuse my poor use of the English language in my previous post but you get the message......long night last night......

Eight year olds dude.

Ah, yes. We're everywhere.

Glad no one showed Z a photo of his little-known farmhouse outside of Moorhead, Minnesota. Things could have turned out much more interesting, man, with a lot of ins, a lot of outs and a lot of what have yous.

Upon my entry into karma-giving land, I have my first two recipients. I abide.

With Jim Zebrowski not getting the St. Thomas HC position, does that mean he will return to the Warhawks as OC?  Or is he still shopping his services around with hopes of landing a promotion?

Badgerwarhawk +k, congrats on a bakers dozen + 00!

Not sure... but I'm glad he is still at UWW for the time being... I have him for a class and seems like a great guy... I hope he hangs around...

Thanks... I just started with Photoshop... I started to create myself in MVP Baseball 05 for the PC... just thought I would try to do other things too....

Statiscally odds are against any college athlete in any sport of going to the next level. But I wouldn't bet against him. There were some who said he had no shot at being the QB for the Warhawks and now ???? AFL why not ? Couple of D3 guys are getting thier shot at qb. CFL could be, he has connections with his old CLU coach who was/is coaching there. Pro day and combines will help the already strong resume. National Champs can open allot of doors.   quote author=kirasdad link=topic=3741.msg855204#msg855204 date=1201384792]

CaptainKurt

I don't think that getting into the AFL-2 ranks (or equivalent) is that hard.  Don't get me wrong, you have to be talented to make it.  But generally speaking, if you were 1st-Team WIAC, then you can make it to the AFL-2 level.  Not a lot of guys have the desire or drive to play for $200 a week.  I don't blame them.  But if they choose to play at the AFL-2 level, I don't blame them for that either.  Regardless, if guys are interested in playing once college is done, the need to contact the Captain so they can come stab some faces in the North American Football League as a member of the Wisconsin Wolfpack!!

www.wiwolfpack.com

It's a new site, and will be officially launched next week once we announce all of our coaches.  We're always looking for WIAC'ers to join the team to continue the opportunity to play football after college is over and the 40 hour weeks begin.
