Since it's been a couple weeks since anyone inquired...has anybody received their Stagg Bowl DVD from the NCAA yet?...or am I the last one still waiting?

Still have not received my DVD BoBo either. Did get an answer from the NCAA that it would be a while yet for some baloney reason I can't remember. The answer I got was from jkennedy@thoughtequity.com,whoever that is.....

Stanley's 23-foot long jump provisionally qualifies him for nationals. He would need to go 23' 9" for an auto mark.

There's a lot of track season left, but it's questionable whether he needs to go longer to qualify. The last 2007 national qualifier in the long jump had a 23' 2".


Thanks for the clarification.  I'm not much of a track guy and I thought I might have been mistaken.

Perhaps working out with Holt and Bruce would be better for him but working out with Holt and Bruce wouldn't earn him his degree.  That seems to be his goal at this point.

Stanley is running track becuase the NFL is paying for him to come back and get his degree.  It is a good way to stay in shape and compete during the off-season.  The NFL encourages this.  He is competing when he wants to and he will be back to St. Louis for OTA's in early May.  I don't think Tory Holt and Isac Bruce stay in St. Louis and work out from Janruary to April.  If you played in the NFL wouldn't you want to workout somewhere nice...say Florida, California, Arizona during the off-season!!

Hey Im all for him getting his degree, that is something i have talked with him about before he got drafted, but I know the wear and tear that jumping puts on your legs and knees and just wanted to know what people thought.. 
If you wanna be good practice till you get it right, if you wanna be great practice till you cant get it wrong..

Didn't get our DVD either yet, but we did just get our order from Impact Sports with our Championship Gear.  Go Warhawks!!

Just logged on to say that Mr. Postman had brought my order from Impact as well but see that I am late.  Knew that you would be one happy camper, Sink!  Regarding the DVD, I put in an inquiry this morning because I had taken my cue from Sakman and put in a separate order in January for the 05 and 06 copy as well.  (I ordered the 07 three days after the Stagg.)  My card was charged three weeks ago by Thought Equity (the production partner that the NCAA has hired to produce these DVD's,) for the 05, 06 order but has yet to ship my copies.  NCAA said that the 07 is still in production and being prepared to send out in a few weeks but no explanation as to why the other two have not been shipped to me as they are in stock.  ::)  The matter is being looked into!    >:( >:(

Ok, thanks, guys.  I feel better now that I know we are all getting the same, mixed signals, about the shipping date.  It'll be a nice warm day in paradise when that thing finally does arrive.

I think you're right 413...I'm not a penguin expert, but penguin shenanigans seem to really mirroring human behavior I think...

Got my Warhawk championship sweatshirt from Impact and will be wearing to the Kohl Center tonight for Indiana game....local paper said there was a big cheer (loudest of the night) in the Kohl Center during the men's game when the final score of the Stagg Bowl was flashed
