I had to turn the air down to 72 tonight as it is a bit humid in the Tampa area right now.

Is Danny Jones still in school in WI?  I thought he was just a hired gun for the football season.

I remember some pretty good storms in my youth growing up in SE Minnesota. We had piles at corners that you couldn't see over. Now, they didn't use as much chemical then, so it didn't melt on the road as much. In 1997. I was living in the DC area, and we had about 32 inches over a three day period. That's the biggest in recent memory for me.

just gonna throw this out there... this is the worst snow storm I have ever seen... I mean, I'm only 20.. but damn... I have a 4.5 foot snow drift outside of my apartment...

I wonder how Danny Jones is doing in this storm.  He must be wondering about now, "What was I thinking?"  But then............. he does have a National Championship to keep him warm!   

I was at the local cinema watching a French film festival and I took this picture from the balcony...I think that might be him standing up...

I grew up mostly in Northern Illinois and then spent a fair amount of time in NE Ohio so I know the type of weather you guys are having and that is one of the main reasons my family and I "retired" early to the South.  No more shoveling snow or scraping windows.  Just have to dodge an errant hurricane every now and again.

When I was a kid, it snowed like this every day all winter. I had to shovel it by hand, then walk 20 miles to school, shoveling sidewalks on the way for money to buy food and clothes.

The guy who won last night in New Orleans to move on to the finals in the Rose Bowl was Derek Schaefer, a former WR on UW-LAX's 92 championship team, according to his bio.  It wasn't pretty by any means, but he was the only guy to tackle Rocket Ismail on a KOR.  Of course, Rocket had already returned 4 punts and 3 KO's by that time.
