Don't mean to shake the hive anymore...however...how does "...Rodgers to Garcon....touchdown Packers!!...(presuming Brett retires)" grab you?  This from Ted Thompson in Garcon's
hometown newpaper in Florida:

"He's very prolific," Packers General Manager Ted Thompson said. "He's big. He's strong. He catches the ball very well. He's good after the catch. He's all the things people are looking for."  Ok, no mention of the "C" word here...but wouldn't this be interesting?!  :-\

Oh boy, this would put in a bigger bind than Bo Ryan becoming BADGER head basketball coach.   :D   I'm still not certain how I worked my way through that one.  ;)

Saw this on another board and it gave me a big chuckle.   Someone should remind these two not to sit together.  ;D

As you get older I think you will have a little more empathy for dawarhawksrock's position. Many times I have heard about someone being an A--hole, and when I met that person and got to know him, I found out that the Info giver may have been the A--hole. Of course Kubiak took it to the extreme in citing obvious hell dwellers. I guess it's a matter of degree. Some people think it's cold when it's in the 50's, but some don't. No one is going to argue the point when it's -30. Sorry Kubs, but you had a foul ball on that one.

Sometimes its unreal how clueless some of you guys sound.  Never was a big fan of Garcon no matter what team he was on.  But I would love to see him get drafted and do well in the NFL.  He is a fellow D3er and the more the better in the NFL.
The truth is Garcon acted the same way in every game.  This game he just played bad so people noticed it more.  Good luck to all the D3er trying to make even if you shouldnt be.

And the player next to Berry last name starts with a D so let's have some fun with that "fill in the blanks" game.  ;D

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

LaCrosse looks like it will have an interesting year.  Start out pretty tested in September with Hardin-Simmons, AP and then the Hawks and with a bye in between.  And once again, appears they have to settle for a 9 game season.  They lose their home field advantage for the season as well.  The travel to Winona has got to cut into the attendance, especially the students, I would guess.

It appears that the conference schedule is just a flip-flop (home and away) version of the 2007 schedule.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

I'll be disappointed that there may not be another  Raebel type "whack heard around the WIAC" coined by me  8)  But from time to time I do pop the game into the DVD player to get remeber how big that play really panned out to be for the rest of the Warhawks and LaCrosse seasons.   LaCrosse QB is still on  heavy dose of Exederin extra strenght   ;D

I you tube it whenever I need a pick me up. As for Garcone, it's a pretty weak statement to say you earn the right to be selfish, disrespectful, and arrogant because of the way you play. That's along the same line as someone who has earned the right to be a jerk because they're rich. That mentality has been the downfall of many people as well as cultures, and countries. A spade is a spade and I'm with Sakman, calling him a jerk is an understatement but at least he can catch a ball.

News from the NFL -
The St. Louis Rams waived WR Isaac Bruce today... Move a Warhawk up a spot on the depth chart!

He's spent his entire 14 years with the team and is the franchise leader in receptions 942 (NFL's 6th all-time), yards (14,109; third all-time) and 84 TDs...

The WIAC conference track meet is going on this weekend at Superior (the forgotten conference member) and after day one the WARHAWKS are leading with 42 points. Derek Stanley made finals in the 55m with a time of 6.57 while placing 7th in the long jump. Another Warhawk football player, Luke Hibner, placed 7th in the Shot Put. Way to go boys!!

I hope all of the Issac Bruce stuff makes Derek's roster spot a little more secure but who knows. Maybe he'll get traded to the Packers or Bears. It'd give me a reason to save up for one of those tickets!

W 96 - Just a small correction, Stanley was 6th in the lj at 6.72m (WW finished 1, 2, 5, & 6 in the event).  He came in as the top seed with a best of 7.01m.
