Forget the 3000 yards rushing I saw Darren McFadden standing broadjump 10 feet.

After watching it for 5 minutes I understood why Mike Sherman fell asleep.

Message from NCAA finally received about the cover of the Stagg Bowl DVD for those who care.
"The image is a general, non-descript photo that we use on the cover of all NCAA On Demand Football titles.  We realize that the picture looks nothing like actual players in the game – that is somewhat the goal our art department looks to achieve. The purpose of the image being general and unidentifiable is to aid any clearance and likeness issues that might arise as a result."
No Stealth response to that is needed. E.O.S.

Hey stealth, the only thing that really matters, I suppose, are that the contents of the DVD are very specific and identifiable, except if you're that Mount Union DB who got flattened at the end of the long run by the freight train that goes by the name of Beaver..I still don't think he knows what hit him!

R.I.P.  #4's career...

I think that #4 should announce that this upcoming year will be his last year so that every city that he plays in can give him his due respect. A rare guy with rare talent. Pure love of the game. Hell he would even get a standing O in Viking and Bear land.
Now if Rodgers steps in and performs well then you have two California QB's that played in WI. One with a ring. What's up with that ?

Somebody please let all us Warhawk fans know how the Pro Day went for Champs that were there. I beleive that it is on the 5th. I am just wriggling with anticipation. Considering that we now have the combine results it should be pretty easy to see how they stacked up.

With one T&F meet remaining before indoor nationals, Stanley has slipped to 13th (tied) nationally in the long jump, after a few jumpers passed him at their conference meets.

Only the top 10 are guaranteed spots at nationals. But because of semicomplicated entrant-limit rules (other jumpers are qualified in multiple events), he's right on the fence. There's a good chance he needs to go longer than his current 23'0" this weekend, especially if one or two more guys pass his 23'0" this weekend, which usually happens at last-chance meets.

badgerwarhawk

I don't get the impression that qualifing for the national meet is that much of a priority for Stanley.  He's got a lot on his plate and track isn't the main course.

UWL has apparently filled out their 2008 schedule with a road trip to Grand Forks, North Dakota to face the UND Fighting Sioux.

BoBo

If I'm not mistaken, this is UND's first year in the Division I-Football Championship Subdivision.  Rather impressive beginning to the Indian 2008 season: Hardin-Simmons, UND, Azuza-Pacific, bye week, & UWW to open up.
