6'2" that is probably with their skates on.  Hockey is a waste of time and should be banned from America.  Did anyone catch the all star game?  Probably not because is was on the VS channel right after some cooking show.  Go watch Mighty Ducks Emilio.

I believe that Justin will absolutely be in an NFL camp and might warrant a late 7th round draft pick depending on if some teams already have drafted the positions they need.....here's the only tough part about Beaver is that he never was given the chance at WW to play a significant role on special teams like Derek Stanley did.....by getting experience on special teams, Derek proved to be more versatile and I believe more NFL teams are more willing to go with a guy who has played as a Wide Receiver, Kick Returner, Running Back, Defensive Back, Punt Gunner than a guy who has only played RB....granted, i'm comparing apples to oranges, because they play two different positions, but I think with the tools that Justin had, it was stupid of the coaches not to put him on Special Teams more.....not saying that he couldn't do that at the NFL level, because I think he can, but it's unfamiliar territory for him

WWfH, I disagree, I think coaches would be wrong putting your star RB in on special teams.  Your RB is probably getting knocked around pretty good every single play. Why take the risk losing him returning a punt or kick-off when you got someone else with the skills to do that and specialize in that?  Stanley, on the other hand, as a WR, isn't getting into heavy contact every play and is usually just out running the defender playing on special teams.  Can you name a starting, star RB playing special teams?  I can't!

If anyone cares about such things, Derek Stanley still has a tenuous hold on a national indoor long jump spot. Stanley currently has the 10th best jump in D-III this season at 23 feet.

He has two more meets to improve his seed before nationals. If he can go 23-2, he should be safe. But 23-0 might be good enough this year. However, that's not usually the case.

Derek Stanley added another first place finish in a last chance meet at UW-W with a season best 23-4 in the long jump which also improved his provisional qualifying.  Only time will tell if he improved his distance enough to get to nationals.

The only sport that should be banned from America is soccer.

I second that.

The reason that USA soccer sucks is because Reggie Bush and Donald Drive play in the NFL.  Without the NFL, Randy Moss would lead us to a gold medal in soccer every Olympics as well as to the World Cup.

Sounds like the banquet was a great turn out and the rings are pretty unreal.  But not as unreal as MR. RIMINGTON aka Brent Allen.  Good to see the little man gets what he deserves. Brent Allen you are a stud. It also shows what a good coach Steve Dinkle is and he should get more credit than he is given.  Can we get some updates on the warhawk website on the banquet TOMMY.  Like what was Lange wearing or how many times did Brez cry or did Brez have on the tinted shades?

Tommy Lange is still alive and kicking???  Wow

Two questions Goo:

1.  Does tommy still give you the kickoff time down to the minute of the first game fo the next season durring the offseason??

2. does he still try to mooch beer downtown off players

1_For_27

both questions above have the same answer.... "YES"

also my favorite lange moment was when the captain and the OG RB #20 poured a beast light in langes hood downtown at the bar. classic tom foolery!!!!

Captain Kurt, that is the most intelligent comment I have ever read on this board.

Thats a pretty fair point when I think about it.  I do not know if Randy Moss would lead the charge during the Olympics, but if you think about all those type of athletes being lead into the soccer system, the results might change for the USA on a global level.

Yes, Tommy is still alive and kicking.

1.  Yes, Tommy is a virtual world's clock.
2.  Tommy mooches beer off of everyone players and others alike.   He's a hit with the college chicks.

Bonus Tommy trivia:
He has still never cooked a meal for himself.

More than lack of special teams experience that could hurt and I say COULD hurt his chances at a draft spot could be the lack of receiving experience out of the back field or in a slot position. I'm not saying that he couldn't or wouldn't be successful at it, Jones says he has good hands and vision and we all know what he can do in the open field (at the D3 level) Warhawks never featured him in that capacity to any great extent. Screen passes did not exist in the Coach Z playbook. Shame cause that would have been a great sight to see him catch some on a swing or a little dump pass and get 1:1 downfeild. With his lengendary work ethic, heart of a lion and the head turning  Pro Day results he quite possibly be one of the those diamonds  in the rough that the NFL always looks for.

Just talked to Beaver....What a day he had yesterday!!  40 yd - 4.41, Bench - 24 reps at 225, 3 cone drill - 6.7 (higher than any RB at the combine in Indy), pro agility - 3.9, and a 33 on his vert.  His agent said one of the most impressive combines he has seen, and that his phone hasn't stopped ringing all day!! Beaver you better keep draft weekend open for a DRAFT PARTY!!

The numbers you list differ slightly than those published on NFLdraftscout.com.  However, they do show the Beaver's stock on the rise.  He is listed as 53 out of 187 RB's on their list.  They also list a second positon as kick returner. To put this into perspective, they say the current trend has 52 RB's making it to an NFL camp. But, I agree, it's looking rather obvious that he is positioning himself well after this outstanding performance.

Anybody hear any news about Pete Schmidt possibly re-signing and going back to a NFL camp?  Has he recovered from the injury that derailed his attempt to make the Redskins last season?
