I am so sick of the flat lander thing.  It makes no sense.  I am from a western suburb of Chicago and the lands are not flat.  Their are buildings and restaurants and parks.
Unlike 90% of Wisconsin that I have seen.  That is one of the dumbest terms I have ever heard.

Mr. Goo - The cities in Illinois may be substantial and nice - but the land is STILL FLAT.  Maybe you should do more travel out of state to gain more knowlege??!!

Yes we all wish them the best of luck. It would be a proud day for all of the Warhawk nation if the TV call was " Beaver receives the kickoff and is tackled by Rabel" Please AJ if the time comes no Whack heard around the WIAC repeat please.  ;D

Everyone on this board including old-Indian should be proud of both Justin and A.J.
Here is to both of them making their respective teams 47 man roster, and success for both of them of course not for A.J. when the Vikes play the Packers.
Seeing that I am moving a couple of states to the northwest. I hope to see Packers play but am sure I will see the Vikings as I will be a state away from the land of 10,000 lakes.
There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

Come up with something new other than F.I.B. or flatlander it's old!

How about F.I.S.H.    lol

How about Flathead? Ok, that's my shot.

Since I stirred up a hornet's nest some time back regarding this issue, I think it's only right that I bring this to your attention, since I haven't seen it on here yet.

A couple of ex-NYC detectives have looked into the spate of drownings by college age men in the area. They say they have found some common elements that may point to a more nefarious force at work, rather than just happenstance. It may be the work of a serial killer or serial killers. If there is indeed such links, this should be looked into in more depth. Some ex-coppers are not above exploitiong situations for their personal gain, but I hope that is not the case here. I'm skeptical as a rule, but it seems that so many similar suspicious deaths is something that raises my radar. There is usually some other explanation for what would seem like coincidence.

I agree with Badgerwarhawk the new name for people from Illinois is F.I.S.H.
As far as why kids from Illinois come to Wisconsin. It probaly has something to do with the nice new national championshi[ rings that coach Zebrowski wears when he rexruits down there.
Coach ZSon you want to win one of these. Kid reples Yes coach i do. Well then come to Whitewater, and let's make it happen.
Of course that same line is most likely used by the head coach at Mount Unioin. As he has more then one.

The serial killer at work in LaCrosse is named alcohol.

Goo 62

I guess I misunderstood the term.  Its still the dumbest name I have ever heard next to flathead.  When did Wisconsin become the rocky mountains?

Goo 62

When did the first Lax supposed serial killer strike?

6 or 7 years ago my son decided to go to Whitewater because he was recruited by Coach Z. and after he saw the Perk, weight room, and locker room he turned to his mother and simply said I am coming here......it was one of the best choices he ever made in his life. Now due to UWW's great success in football, ever improving facilities, and by the way also a very good school...... recruiting is a much easier task . Good players continue to come from Illinois and other states and what's even better former players like my son and others bring excellent players from their high schools to see Whitewater and consequently they want to go to UWW. Next years team should have 3 players from Oak Park River Forest(center of the Flatlands) and they all are excellent ball players....unless someone really screws it up the Warhawks should be a power in Division 3 for quite a while.....I just love it......

Would one of you geniuses please point out:
1. Any suggestion that I was not proud of Justin.
2. Any suggestion that Justin was not emotionally strong.

Words have meaning:
When I wrote "I cannot think of anything...," that meant "I."  Not you.  Not Justin.  Not anybody else.  "I" as in me.  OK, so I am an emotionally weak person and a douche bag.

Hey "Voice," nice comeback on the open invitation to Justin's party posted on Warhawkfootball.com - still waiting for it.

I love how you guys rip "Goo." He's one of the best players in the history of your program, yet you rip him.  How many two-time All-Americans has Whitewater produced?  Yet, you rip him becuase he dares to disagree with you on football - a topic he knows 10 times more about than you guys combined.

I guess Goo and I should focus on the more pressing Whitewater topics, like:

"Did you get your copy of the Stagg Bowl, yet"
"Why is the guy on the Stagg Bowl cover, not a Warhawk.  So unfair!"
"Aren't those penguins cool?  I could watch them all day!"
"Wow, your karma rating is so high!"
"Pat, can you increase my karma, because I can't give people +k anymore.

Now, you guys can call me more names and give me more negative karma.  Real classy.

Old Indian

And by the way "Beaver Believer,"  NFL rosters are 53-man rosters, not 47.  You really know your stuff.

+k! love your icon!

BEAVER-BELIEVER

My bad I don't know where I came up with a 47 man roster. Let's just say it was a long night with the ms. last night

badgerwarhawk

I didn't say you were emotionally weak Indian and I've understood you were talking about yourself through the entire exchange.  I said it was fortunate Justin was emotionally stronger than yourself.  That's a relative statement.  It doesn't necessarily imply you are weak.  It only obviously implies that Justin is stronger and that is by your own admission.

As far as karma you have nothing to be concerned about from me.  I don't give it, good or bad.

The active roster is limited to 53.  A team's official roster includes players on the practice squad and those on injured reserve.    I wish the mrs could keep me occupied enough that I could forget that. :)
