Quote from Mike McCarthy on Sunday:

(Can you assess Justin Beaver's performance, and does he have a shot at coming back?)
I'll tell you what, he's been very impressive. He's done a very nice job. He plays with a lot of energy, very quick, explosive. As far as, does he have a shot, that's something actually we'll discuss when we get back upstairs. But I would love for him to have an opportunity, because he's been impressive.

Any news on Raebel's weekend?  I couldn't find anything via a quick internet search this morning.

That was the 80's...now these days some of these NT can run 4.8 40's and still be 6'5" 280-300  ;D

some of those DT's could run 4.8 back in the 80's and some of the RB's could run 4.3 (as in Mr.  TT) Justin would get killed on the double team. ;)

Wisconsin media was "all over" the Packers' rookie orientation camp.  For comparison's sake, absolutely nothing on the Vikings rookie camp other than a story last week listing the players that would be participating.
???

Wisconsin State Journal story today with Justin Beaver's thoughts on his performance at his weekend tryout with the Packers.

I haven 't heard anything but Raebel has the option of the Canadaian Football League if the Viking thing doesn't work out and no other team shows an interest.

What is Raebel's 40 time?  The game up North is fast and quick.  3 Down Football so more passing and the field is wider and longer so there is more ground to cover.  My Dad coached in the CFL from 1983-1996.

Sorry, I don't know Raebel's 40 time.  But I believe it's pretty decent for linebackers.

NFL owners will meet later this week to take a vote on increasing the preseason roster size from 80 players to 86 which, if approved, could benefit both Raebel and Beaver.

And former wiedout Jim Leszyinski, who was opposite Derek Stanley in the team's first Stagg Bowl appearance, on that same indoor Milwaukee team!

I'm told by a very good source that the 07 award winners stories are planned for publication following UWWs spring practice.  It will be good reading during the summer months.

I hope this isn't a reliable source, I can't find it anywhere else.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I hope it isn't but if it is I know that he gave it his best shot.

This past two weeks have been incredible.  Justin has been featured on every tv channel in the area, every newspaper and radio station.  He's made the front page of the WSJ three times. It's just been amazing.  Some one in the athletic department should make a point of thanking him profusely because while it's been Justin that's been featured it's been UW-WHITEWATER that has been riding on his coat tails.  I can't even begin to fathom what all this advertising would have cost the university.  I doubt you could even buy it.
