Pretty easy win today.   The best thing was that all 56 players who made the trip saw extensive playing time.  Antwan Anderson really jumped out.  Starting defensive unit was nearly impenetrable.   Didn't hear anything about any injuries.  Time to fly back home and start getting ready for LaCrosse.  They're a better team than their record suggests.  They'll have had two weeks to prepare and I suspect this one is going to be a nail biter.

I agree BW. LAX actually played Azusa better that Point did, as they had two turnovers at the goal line. I expect a good game.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

All positives badgerwarhawk...but what's up with the point after touchdown squad - that was brutal today - three failed kicks.  That'll be something that needs shoring up this week. Last time La Crosse was at Perkins, if I remember correctly, the Eagles had a couple blocks on XP's and/or FG's.  Regardless, the breakdowns require immediate attention, don't you think? With the conference season in full swing starting this week, one phase that needs to be in sync is the kicking game.

As a Puget Sound fan, that was about all the Loggers did well yesterday!!!  On the first PAT, UWW only had 10 guys line up and the 11th guy didn't run on until about 10 seconds left on the play clock so the kicker seemed a little razzled and just hooked the ball wide left.

On the second PAT, the Loggers busted right up the middle and absolutely smothered the ball for the block.  They did this twice against Claremont-M-S last week but I didn't think they'd be able to break the line against the Warhawks.

On the final PAT, the ball just clanked off the left upright.  There was no energy left in the game for either team at that point so it seemed liked the kicker just swung his leg a little too much.

Sakman 1111

Have not seen the Warhawks this year yet but have listened to the Voice each game......will be at the Perk early Saturday to hopefully watch a monkey stomping of LAX. Warhawks seem to be getting better each game. Excited to be back at the Perk.....See you Saturday.....Pound the Rock with Coppage!.....

I have to admit that this game has me spooked.  LaCrosse is winless and you know they're a better team than that.  With the bye week they've had two weeks to get ready for us.  They're still pissed about the clock incident three years ago so they've got a score to settle.  We've had our way with them the past few years so the law of averages is starting to creep up on us.  Admittedly I'm a tad superstitious and I don't like all this karma.

Hopefully having Sakman back in the stadium will help offset it.  :D

When you win 60-7 you tend to forget the negatives BoBo and the extra point thing totally slipped my mind.  But you're right that's something we can't have in a game like this week's.  Fortuanately it was completely out of character for Schebler so I'm figuring he has it out of his system and he'll be every bit as consistant as his career has proven him to be.

I am not worried at all about the kicking game! Schebler is a stud and the coach who takes care of the big fellas up front is not one to "forget" the second PAT was blocked. I can hear and see him as I type this actually. I bet you a dollar he pauses the projector turns and stares at the guilty parties says something about having a PAT blocked to lose a Conference title, National title, ect.

I'm not worrying about Schebs either.

By the way, warhawkfootball.com is back up and running.  Sure wished the server problem would have occurred over the summer instead!

Saw this nugget on RotoTimes.com:
Rams wideout Derek Stanley is on the practice squad, but he took first-team reps in practice and could be promoted, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
