Hate to call out everyone's beloved "Voice" but how can it be almost 7 on tuesday and not a single update has been made to warhawkfootball.com?  It's homecoming week isn't it?  maybe it is time to outsource this site to some students who need some web experience.. just a thought...

Ouch - that hurts >:(   Thought it was OK to take a day off to fill the sausage costumes for this Saturday's game, work on final details for Military Appreciation Day, work with 25 area youth football programs in advance of having each program particpate in either the 11/1 or 11/8 games, work with the printer on the 11/1 gameday program, finalize UWW's Bleacher Creature spring semester program, and do my laundry.  Once I have my laundry folded I'll have two more stories for you before midnight.

On the other hand, I really appreciate those who look to the Website for Warhawk football news.

Go Hawks!!

That's awesome!  That's why you're so very appreciated, Tom.  Thank you for all you do!

voice, any updates on the advance ticket sales for the Point game?  Being homecoming, could another record size crowd be in the works?  (gotta keep that average up!)

BTW, great job on the site...even if there isn't something new up each day, I still enjoy re-reading the articles and looking at the pictures. The one with the John Deere is one of my recent favorites!! It's the best fan site out there!!

Congrats to Aaron Rusch one of this week's DIII.com's team of the week wide receivers.  And to LaX Eagle LB Blake Roemer a selection on the defensive side of the ball.

And, finally....Congrats to Voice for having the best damned DIII team specific fan based website around.  :D

I'd like to recognize Keegan Brenan, Donovan, Adam Brandes and Kyle Supianoski for some recent things they helped out with.

I teach 5th grade in Genoa City and needed volunteers for an incentive day....The four showed up and played football with the kids for an hour. The students had a blast and the Warhawks represented well.

1 for 27 let's take it easy on the Voice.....Remember when Tommy P. was laid up for a few weeks and others attempted to fill in....not so great....Can't wait to get back to to the Perk 1st of November....Pound the Rock!.....

Sakman you are right I should take it easy on da "voice".. He does do a great job on keeping us warhawk junkies with a steady fix of information...  I guess I just still hold a small grudge from his off color remark from back in the fall of 02 when the Goo and I were listening to the game out in Oregon..  But for the most part keep I am gracious for all that he does.. Going to do my best to get up for the game on Nov. 1 but we will see what happens... Keep up the good work D Stan and GO HAWKS!!!!!

Derek Stanley was back at practice today following "the shot to the head" that he got against Dallas on Sunday.  It looks like he may be getting some more game time action.

From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch..  Wide receiver Eddie Kennison was cut to free up a roster spot for safety Eric Bassey who was signed this week off the practice squad.

The Rams Depth Chart (10/22/08) at http://www.stlouisrams.com/Team/DepthCharts/ shows that D-Stan has been moved to second team wide receiver behind rookie Donnie Avery

That looks very promising.  Two of my favorite sayings come to mind.

voice, I enjoyed the tongue and cheek article on warhawkfootball.com about Willy the Warhawk and Klements Sausages.

I couldn't help but forwarding it onto my alumni buddies, i'm sure they'll get a kick out of it as well.

Can't wait till saturday to see Willy and the Warhawks kick some @ss

Two sources, which have been wrong on Stanley info a couple times this year, say he didn't practice today. IF that is true, it's getting unlikely he would play Sunday.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

A win over Point on Saturday gives UWW 26 straight wins in the conference, breaking the record of 25 consecutive wins by La Crosse in the old WSUC from 1949-1954.

The all-time record for games in a row without a loss is 29, set from 1949-54 by La Crosse. But the Eagles tied the 26th conference game and won their next three games to set the all-time (then) WSUC non-losing streak at 29 games.

Whitewater also enters Saturday's game having won 28 straight games at Perkins Stadium dating back to the final game of 2004.

Here's a reliable source on Stanley, there's comments from him under EAGER TO PLAY.

voice.....I'm still trying to forget that game, quit bringing it up ;D
