footballfan413--Mike Z. had an MRI Tuesday to check the condition of his injured ribs. I don't know the result. He also tweaked a sprained ankle before practice last Saturday. If I find out tonite/tomorrow a.m. about whether he will play, I will post it. Otherwise, I'm picking RF anyway. They have a very capable replacement in Michael Woodward, the nominated offensive player of the week from RF. Not that that means anything: I picked them to beat Stout, lose to Point, beat WW. What do I know?

Thanks for the info, Fred.  MZ sounds like he is a little beat up.  Hope he gets healthy soon as I don't believe that UWRF is the same team without him.  But I guess I will stick with them in the Pick em's and hope I don't jinx them.  UWP has always been my hardest read....................well..............until this year.  The Blue Devils seem to have taken their place.

Okay, fine, I get busted.  Here's the deal.  Former Stout head football coach, Todd Strop called me on his cell, it was a better offer, I met with him, and forgot all about the Mayor of River Falls.  Just goes to show that football is bigger than politics.

I know its been awhile for both posting on the forum's and also checking out the WIAC standings (did you know they also post D-III standings on ESPN?).

Anyways...Is it just me, or is it very bizarre that Oshkosh has an overall record of 3-2 and yet, they have been outscored 114 to 43?

Maybe I'll throw it to the D-III stat junkies and ask what the record is for most points outscored in a season and still have a winning record? Just wondering if Oshkosh has a chance of breaking it...

So, retagent, it must have been your appearance to spur on the Warhawks today.  Were you there?  Or was it just your thinking of going that made the difference?

Nice rebound Warhawks. 40 points against EC is pretty impressive with one score from the D. Only complaint is with the Penn Atlantic camera person. Come on get in the game.   Donovan got nicked up a bit but he'll be ok. Would love to see a 2 back set with Coop and Anderson. Also liked the play calling on 1st down with the Hawks trying some down field passing. Didn't connect on many but served a couple of purposes. Keep the D honest and game time speed work.

On the radio, Lance indicated to voice that he wasn't sure if it was his ribs or further up his torso. Sounds like he's just blowing smoke up where the sun don't shine. Probably won't get a straight answer.
