Right after the play he was working his shoulder and shaking his head. Could be ribs though.

I'm not sure what to make of Stevens Point after today...how long can they keep this up?

what a game...unfortunate ending though. I was expecting a tough Osh D to keep this a low scoring game but that didn't quite turnout. Great to see the offense finally clicking though...dissapointing to see the D not able to stop Point when it mattered most in the 4th quarter and overtime. I didn't hear any of the play by play so I'll have to dig further to see what Point did in the 4th to pull off the come from behind win.

I've been refreshing on the Point website looking for a box score or an article for an hour.  Nothing yet.

Here's the game story from UWSP-UWO with box score.

UWSP trailed by 14 late in the third.

That UWO secondary is something else ... Point was down 14 late in the fourth, just to clarify. UWO had two first downs (the TD and a personal foul) in the fourth quarter. SP had 13 fourth-quarter first downs.

I did make the game BoBo. Only stayed for 3 quarters, as it looked like UWW had it well in hand. I'm still impressed with how the Warhawks  do so well without being impressive, if that makes any sense. They just seem to make almost every play they need to make. I can't remember if I saw Anderson against UWL earlier, but he looked like he wanted to get more PT. Ran hard, and made more yardage than it looked like he should. Coppage, except for one really good run, looks like he gets what he should get and not much more. Nothing wrong with that, but it maybe accounts for my failure to be impressed with him, as much as I am with the O line.

Is that what's called methodical?
They needed a little more of that last week against Point!!

Methodical is a good word BoBo. I didn't want to use the overused "workmanlike." I guess what I'm trying to convey is that IMHO, they are a good team, maybe a very good team. I just don't think they will make it to the final two. I wouldn't be completely surprised if they did though. I know that clears it up. ;)

After turning out in massive numbers to date the WARHAWK student body turned out in pathetically meager numbers for this critical game making it difficult to tell which had faded worse, the student body or the purple paint they applied to the roadway leading to the stadium.  I know it was Freak Fest weekend in Madison and some of you may have been hung over from Friday night revelery but with a noon start there was plenty of time to take in the game and drive to Madison for the evening's festivities.  My hat is off to those of you who did take the time to attend.  It's unfortuate the rest of your classmates blew it off.

Hey, Fredfalcon, I already made you mad by not showing up at your local hang-out, how about if I really get you going with a prediction about the future: Mike Zweifel has played his last game as a Falcon.

the champ is here to stay

I was wondering if any of you know if it is allowed at the division three level, for the football coaches or an athletic coaches to have mandatory off season conditioning and lifting. One of my friends sons is getting recruited by an out of state scholarship lower level program(non d1,1aa) and in the recruiting letter it said d3 schools can't have mandatory off season conditioning.
I was just wondering if anyone here knew if this was true. Maybe Voice because he works at the UWW could help us out with this question.
