BoBo, you need to dispatch your penguins over to BearcatFan - he's got your old gif of the tripping penguin.

I'm thinking dis town ain't big enuff fer two penguin gangs .....
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

K'SInk, it's being used without authorization and I'm stinking  >:(      ;)

But, imitation is the highest form of flattery...I shouldn't be surprised it's coming from a Willamette fan - they think they are so  8) with the gimmicky little plays they run on offense; I'm just going to have to tell the hawks to take it out on their team, something like..."beat the penquins out of them, boys!!"

However, I got stealth on my side, preparing for attack, a couple strategically placed munitions oughta do the trick.  He started with the Three Stooges gag...and there's more to come!!

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

slow go on the football talk over here gentleman...seems like all the action is over in NWC board. The Whitewater faithful seems to have them all riled up over there, great stuff!

From what I'm reading it'll be tough to find a live stream to watch the game over the internet. I really want to see this offense they're talking about in action. Guess I'll have to have The Voice to be my eyes (which isn't bad either).

...but most of the "talkers" are Willamette mercenaries hailing from Linfield just looking out for the NWC...the Willamette posters have only three things to say...W  O  O ...either their entire team is nicknamed WOO, or it's only going to take one guy to cream the Warhawks.   ;)

Here's my latest post on the NWC board for our friends out West:

Because we've been down this road before, I'll do the Willamette fans a favor and provide some cut and paste material for those who bother to show up and post after the game on Saturday. I have heard it is hard type when disappointed.:

"Congratulations to UWW. They won the game. It's too bad the Bearcats saved their worst game of the season for this week. If we had played like we usually do, things would have been different. Anyway, great season Bearcats, we're proud of you!"

"To me the key to our game was that our offensive line didn't show up. The pressure up the middle threw off our timing. Well, kudos to the UWW defense. They did what no team has been able to do this year."

"I think our play calling left a lot to be desired today. Usually, coach Speck works wonders in that department. UWW seemed a step ahead of him all day. I was also surprised our defense didn't at least slow down UWW. Usually, we make enough plays on defense to allow our offense to rock. Well, good luck to UWW as they move on."

"This game was much closer than the score indicated. Three or four key plays made the difference. That's football. UWW was the better team TODAY (a favorite Mt. Union line)."

"Well, UWW was as advertised. Their fans talked some smack before the game, but their team was able to back it up. Now we know what level we need to achieve. It has been a great season. Good luck to UWW the rest of the way. (My suggestion for high character posters).

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you folks before Saturday.

I'm thinking that by Saturday, they will REEEEALLLYYY want to win this game!

Is that a "Fly Offense for Dummies" book that penguin is reading?  ;)

BTW, BearcatFan, if you've been reading the posts on here for the past few days, you've noticed a few have pointed out that you are using the penquin .gif that I introduced and trademarked for use on this board.  To enforce the trademark protection that I rightly own, I give you two choices in dealing with this matter in a civil manner:

1.  you remove penquin .gif and agree never to use again on d3football.com

                                                      or

2.  I challenge you to this:  Warhawks win - you permanently remove .gif from you moniker; Bearkitties win, I agree to allow you to use penquin .gif under special license for as long as you like.

What'll it be?  Be advised the stealth is fueled , armed, and in a holding pattern ready to attack at a moments notice should you are brash enough not to respond to this ultimatum.  The offer is available for the next 24 hours only...if no response, further measures will be taken without warning!!  ::)

It's incredibly difficult to type this as I'm quivering with so much fear,  ::) but I seem to recall some mention of you using that .gif at some time in the past. However did you actually create it?

I know I didn't; I found it on some other board somewhen long ago and have been using it in various forums for a few years now. If you can provide proof of "copyright" I'll gladly "cease and desist." In the meanwhile, I'm not opposed to a friendly wager.

If the Warhawks win, I'll send you a nice bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir. If the Bearcats win, you send me, ahhh... ummmm... I can't think of any Wisconsin product that's comparable (a Harley would certainly be too much!). But I'm open to suggestion. Not too interested in Cheese (being so close to Tillamook and Bandon)...

Yeah, I actually created it...but the trademark talk was only hyperbole.

Wager bait suggestion?  How 'bout a cow pie...but since I'm 15,000 miles from Wisconsin and a suitable cow, that would be a little hard to accomplish.

I'm just going to let you use it because it gives me a warm fuzzy everytime I see it...keep posting!!

Congrats to UWEC's Paul Bielmeier, a senior starting safety from Edgar, for being named to the first team Academic All-American, by CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Teams.

He is one of only 24 players in the country to be selected to the first team; he has a 3.93 GPA and is a kinesiology major.

coco

Congratulations to Bielmeier. 3.93 in kinesiology? That's an amazing accomplishment, and while playing football, too.
