I posted on the IIAC board defending Moore but I think it will be well worth it since he still has a lot of friends on this years team and when they hear that the Wartburg fans are trashing him on D3..............
If there was any chance that the Hawks were looking past them on Saturday, for sure not now!  Once a Warhawk, always a Warhawk!   ;) ;D

Its already been determined that Wartburg has no chance anyway so I'm not sure why this would make much of a difference.
You come to Wartburg to play for championships

Wow...Sakman you're right!! Don't be mad cause I get to where my NATIONAL TITLE RING around all weekend and watch my boys pound Wartburg all day!! And for those doing your stats I played in every game in 06 and 07...38 snaps in the 07 title game to be exact (but you wouldn't know much about title games, and whose really counting).  As far as stats I didn't have any your right but I did what it took to win games and for the rest of my life I can say I was a NATIONAL CHAMP!!  When a Wartburg player can say that...maybe I will talk to them.  That being said there were a lot good guys I met in Waverly that I still talk to today.  Funny thing was all but a couple transferred before they finished college.  Interesting!!!

I've read some of your posts and judging by your spelling and syntax that maybe you should have spent a little less time in the weightroom and a little more time in the classroom. I'm sure your ring will impress your co-workers at the plant as much as it impresses me. You can always tell them how UWW wouldn't have won without you.

I don't usually pick on spelling and syntax because this board is about football. However, if someone wants to take a swipe at a Hawk in that arena, it would be well for him to do it with good grammar of his own.

This is getting pretty stupid.

I agree, but with the implications that Wartburg's school, facilities, coaches, and players are so inferior to Whitewater's, we feel the need to respond.

you really think they need more motivation then possibly being back to back National Champs?

I love reading these posts.  Its amazing how getting beat can make grown men sound like my high school freshmen.

Champ 07 is a Champion and nobody can take that away from him.  Regardless of his stat line, he still contributed to the program and had a part in winning a championship.

Here is an idea for all the people that think Whitewater had an unfair advantage...

Probably not, but, hey, every little bit helps!  ;)  BW is right, this has gotten stupid and I apologize for getting swept up in it.  I am considered by many to be the voice of reason, believe it or not!   :D  Guess I just got a little protective of one of the Champs.

Wow...you really counted how many snaps you played?  I have to say that is a little sad.  Did you have a little pad and pen on the field to keep track?   :D

sorry to change to the subject to actual football talk, but does anyone know who is sitting out during practices this week?? Is Coppage healthy again? If he is cleared to play, does anyone think he'll split his carries with Anderson. It'll tough to keep AA on the bench baed on how well he's been playing in the tourny.

I caught some of the practice in Madison. I think Coppage might play.

I think Anderson is both thunder and lightening. Seems to me he is faster in the open field than Coppage. Coppage is a master in working his way through a hole and finding open space though. Very shifty runner.
