Repete, your season is long over, let it go,  BUandGold, you need to go away now, we dont need you as your karma is horrible,  why dont you just go back to the MIAC boards and join the johnnies,...  Central, I have been to pella twice, and once in Arden Hills,  you guys are a really good football team..  I know today did not play into your plans, and I know on another day the outcome would have looked different, and not neccesarily a win, but, I really need to tell you what a great team you have, and I was not nearly as worried about SJU as you guys.  Your town was extremely hospitable, despite the conditions, and your fans, love you guys.  I could not believe all the fans that stayed after the game, to see you all off...  Connell, congrats on 3000 yards,  Schuring, you are a stud and should be proud, and #16, I apoligize for not knowing your name, but you played a great game.  Everyone was hoping you would get up when you went down on the sidelines, and I am glad you did.  Your fans, town, and Pella/Des Moines are proud of you, and congrats on your best season.. Only those that were there today know how bad the conditions were, and I will tell you the Royals at the end, were very humbled to have beaten you...  Good luck next season, you guys are all studs, and hopefully we have your support as we go into next weeks game in Ohio.  Those guys are not unbeatable.  Just ask the Johnnies.....  War Central, War BU, and War D3 football, as it just keeps getting better and better..

Wow, Achilles, a sour grapes winner. I post an explanatory/congratulatory remark and you take shots.

So much for this Bethel poster acting like he's been there before ...

Isn't there a logo for you to stomp somewhere? Try it next week in Alliance.

What a downer of a football day it is in Iowa.

Let me add my congradtulations to the Dutch for a fine season. They were a great representitive of the IIAC. I wish all those who played their last game today all the best in the future.

Coupling this with losses by UNI and Missouri, and footballdaddy didn't have a very good football day. At least I was safe and warm at home with most of the family. Did talk to footballkid and he told me his face is raw from working out outside. Next season has started.

Well, can't really say anything that hasn't been already said (Well, I could. I don't think that anybody has mentioned that Navy has a far superior football team than Army. But nobody on here really cares). Bethel, you just flat out came in and beat the Dutch. Hard to win a football game when the other team has the ball for 41 minutes. That is absolutely remarkable. Here's hoping that you guys can go to Alliance and give the Raiders a game.

To the Central seniors, what an outstanding career you all have had. It is no small feat to be considered one of the best classes that this college has ever had. You would be hard pressed to find too many classes that won 3 straight conference championships, had 3 straight playoff appearances, 3 straight conference MVPs, and only 1 conference loss in that time frame. Back in 2005, Coach Mac told the team that the 2005 seniors had set the foundation for any future success. I'm sure in 2006 he told that class that they had built a sturdy house on that foundation. Now, the 2007 class has gone on and added the doors and windows (get it, Pella windows and doors) and set the tone for future classes. I think this is a great recruiting piece for the offseason. You tell kids "Hey, we got this far with a senior laden team, but a lot of younger players contributed too. We're this close to taking the next step." I think this playoff run showed that there is nothing but good things in store for the future.

Airborne Dutch ...

I care.  I saw Army play against Central Michigan this past October ... unfortunately, they were out-manned.  I didn't see enough of the Army-Navy game to know how the Black Knights played yesterday.  Even though I had 2 classmates go to the USNA ... our son spent 4 years with the 172nd SBCT as a Cavalry Scout with 16 months in Iraq.  So ... I will always say "Go Army - Beat Navy!"

Congrats to the Dutch on fine season.  Sounds like the weather conditions were down right terrible.

What is the actually count of seniors leaving this program.  I know there are some big shoes to fill.

Lets talk about players who were freshman or sophmores this season in the IIAC.  Who are the players to watch.  I dont want to talk about the juniors because they have played 3 season now.  Any studs coming up that we should keep an eye on?

Funny how the first half the photos are from the sidelines and from the pressbox in the second half, come on we were out there in it!  The cheerleaders disappeared too.  I feel bad for the seniors, I think there are around 21 or 22 on this year's squad, to go out battling conditions like that, but to be playing in Decmeber, thats often what you get.

The conditions at the game yesterday truly were unbelievable.  Bethel is a great team and won the game fair and squre, but I would have loved to watch the game on a fast track.  Great season Dutch, and I hope Bethel can give Mount a run for their money...all you need is a little snow/ice/rain mix (j/k).

DF2K4 made the photo gallery!!!  Haven't looked at them all yet to see if anyone else from here made it in.

All that snow in the photos is just going to confuse Purple Heys,  no truth to the rumor that the snow man in picture #9 was a more formidable opponant that the Cornell D...j/k  ;D ;D ;D

If the cheerleaders did leave as well as others this is a shame and the players deserve more.  This was a game to go to the national semi finals.  You would figure that all hands would be on deck for this one.

Fred Jackson and Coe College getting some love on Fox NFL Sunday. They talked about them for a good 15 seconds. Jay Glazer called Fred Coe's most famous alum which the host took offense to because he is a Coe alum. Then they talked about Levy. Never brought up Bender.

Great to see Jackson in action. Hadn't paid much attention to him since his last college game -- a great Jackson vs. Blake Elliott showdown. It's the feature game here in DC area.
