to CooCoo, let's not make this personal.  I show up well before kickoff to ensure myself a good vantage point and I've attended all games, home and away, except BV. You?

Kohawk 2004,
This is also an attack on my loyalty towards the Kohawks. Not to mention how he contradicts himself in that post.  Please don't write about what you don't know about, Charlie does that enough on this board.
I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Sounds like we found a replacement for Dow Jones. Very entertaining CooCoo! You'd almost think Coe was 1-8 instead of 8-1 with all of the arguing.

Go Rams!

Other than Phifer, I dare you to find someone who is more of a kohawk than Charlie Kohawk.

Steve Bohr
Joe Brannen
and the myriad of other assistant coaches in all Coe sports that get paid peanuts, and work their butts off for the betterment of Coe athletics.  Does that answer your question sufficiently?

All of this bickering in the KoHawk Nation is distracting us from the really important conference issue at hand..... the Loras/UD game this weekend. :) Generally, the Loras/UD fans come out of the woodwork for this one -- where is everyone?

I'll get the ball rolling -- the Spartains have had a hell of a run these last couple of weeks....I predict this will be the year that UD knocks off Loras. Anyone else?

Notice I don't say that Dubuque is the worst team they just, right now, have the  worst record.  They have some talent on that team.  I'll bet they get a win in the conference this year, and I'm saying that without knowing their remaining schedule.

Last chance for my prognostication to come to fruition.

Coach Bierie himself used to always say he fueled the fire for the Loras/UD rivalry almost too much at times. But, when the schools are so close, there should be some tension.

My prediction- Loras wins. It may not be pretty, but a W is a W

Let me apologize for Charlie Kohawk.  He is not a graduate of Coe College.  That is why he is unable to say anything objective, insightful, or interesting in his posts.  He is an employee of Coe who does not have much contact with the students at Coe.  Why someone who did not go to Coe would hijack our mascots name for his own use is beyond me.

Once he gets canned from Coe he will not care about the Kohawks one iota.

It is comments like those that I have a problem with.  You talk about me not knowing anything?  I knew Charlie Kohawk when I was a student, so obviously that means he has contact with students.  It is also a bit ironic that the person who's name is 'coocooforcoekohawk' can talk about being objective.  It is just bad form to trash talk about someone's job, especially when you mention him getting 'canned' in the future.

Voice of Coe

It is a reality that all people will not stay in their current job forever, so eventually Charlie Kohawk will not be in his current job.  Whether it be canned or from a voluntary movement of his career, he will not always be at Coe.

How is Tama?

KohawkSideliner

please people, it is extremely unreasonable to talk about someone's job security, especially at a college. I know for a fact that the department that Charlie Kohawk works in is stable, and he is a perfectly fine employee. Last time I checked, I don't think Charlie plays football, so I don't think that it is at all nessasary to talk about him or his personal well being.

Also, I believe that to talk on this board you really need to know about what you are talking about, otherwise you don't serve the others who want to have serious discussions very much good.

OK OK OK enough about the case against Charlie... what things do you see happening in the Loras vs. UD game that strikes you with a UD win Dutchfan1??? hmmmmmmmm? I believe that Coach K from Loras will bring back the Johnny Betterman story and this will get the blood boiling again.  Well it is either that or we(Loras) will have a good week of practice and just get the job done.  Loras still has a good quick team that when comming to play can play with the best in the conference.  Get that offense going and the defense will carry the team to a victory.
Ok Ok ok lets just take this one foot at a time.....

House -- I think that UD is coming on strong at the end of the season, where the DuHawks are stumbling at little bit. House, are you going to the game?

Voice of Coe

My prediction is that UD takes the game by 3.

What is with my karma?  Seems to be getting worse and worse.

Warpig

All this complaining by these Coe fans is making me puke.  Keep in mind your team hasn't won a damn thing this year, and Simpson isn't exactly a roll over.  They have the best dline in the conference.

If Coe does win the league, I will congratulate them because they could dominate for years to come.  Especially if they hire another 1-2 full time assistant coaches in the off season and pay them respectable salaries.   Do you think they will?

coocooforcoekohawk

O.K.

My use of the word canned was a terrible choice.  I meant that if you bond with any entity through employment once the employment is over you are not going to be as loyal to that entity going into the future.  When you graduate from a college that loyalty sticks with you to the end of your days.  Did K. Raymond Clark leave all of his money to his former law partners?  No!  He left it to his beloved Coe.

I'm done with this topic, respond how you must, but I am done.

Go Kohawks!

Loras-UD

We played Loras early with a struggling offense.  Which I still think is struggling.  The Loras D is still tuff.  I don't know if UD's O hit its stride when they played us but they were darn good.  I am going with UD because of the offense.  I think it will be strength against strength.  UD's O against Loras' D.  I just think its UD's turn to win but not by more that a touchdown
